I am really enjoying this mouse, and I prefer using the 7 button side for the mouse. Had no problems from ordering it and arrived perfectly.

    Just Bad

    Posted .

This mouse is just bad, I had bought this mouse because i owned the first gen of the razer naga epic and loved it, it was the "only" mouse to fit my grip. This mouse feels cheaply made by comparison, its too light for my taste, and its not wide enough for my grip style. I would not trash it if that was all, after all these things may only apply to my tastes, however, the software you have to use with this mouse is among the worst I have ever been forced to use. The first problem is even getting the software to function in the first place so you can hate it, because most of the time it just refuses to work or freezes up. The next problem with the software is that it often stops detecting the mouse. The third problem is the software tries to get you to install add-ons you likely dont need/want and poorly explains what they are, making you far better off saying no to everything since you can add things on later if you need them. If i had know buying this mouse was just for beta testers I would have passed and razer should be ashamed charging people for unfinished products. tldr: software bad, didnt like mouse, dont buy

    Razer Mice Suck.

    Posted .

Never again would I buy a Razer mouse. I have owned two of the Razer Naga generation mice in the past some years and I had a basic Logi M185 mouse that lasted longer and worked more properly. The switching side plates is awesome and useful but the mouse itself suck terribly. The left click keeps loosing contact so you can't properly drag. Sometimes the left click does not react. You constantly have to clean it, clean it as much as cleaning a babys crap off it's rear end (parents know how often when a baby poops 5 times a day). It's unreliable. To add to the damage the software does not work half the time and is bulky. I would give this 1 star because the functionality of the mouse is horrendous, I gave it two more starts for the side buttons and took away a star for the horrible bulky software.

    Wonderful gaming mouse

I have had the original 2014 razor naga until the usb wire tore. This mouse has a strong and durable cord and a very comfortable feel. I Play league of legends with it and other razor products and I’m able to customize the side buttons to do everything I need with it. Wonderful comfort, does the trick and much more, and switching to my friends bare bones generic brand mouse, it is actually infuriating to where I don’t even play while using it. Totally worth the purchase.

    Too big for small hands

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My first issue was it glides way too fast on a smooth desk compared to normal mice. I tried to lower the sensitivity but that didn't completely fix it. I have been looking around my house for an old mouse pad. My second issue is my hands are not very big and this thing is like trying to steer a giant rock. If you have big hands then you may be ok but this isn't going to be ergo for everyone. You can see from the review picture that my fingers are about an inch from the end of the buttons, and comparison to the mouse I typically use. And my last issue is with the software. I haven't properly completed all options to troubleshoot it, but it isn't accepting my key input to change the shortcut keybinds. Add this to all the other issues I have and figuring out how to set shortcuts isn't worth it.

New version is incredibly difficult to use

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this after my original Naga MMOG started having issues. I bought it new back in 2012 so for it to go on 6-years before having an issue meant it was a no-brainer to buy the new Naga. The new Naga has two things that bother me quite a bit: 1. It is incredibly wide. Going from a MMOG/Volanic/2012 model will be a little bit of a system shock and take some getting used to. 2. There are no longer bumpers on the middle and back rows. The only identifiers now are the angles of the keys which just simply isn't enough. It took an already complicated mouse and made it even more difficult to use. If you use the other sides that are included with it I'm sure it's not as difficult to use but that's not why I bought it.

    Ok mouse, horrible software

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This mouse is only supported by the beta Razer Synapse 3.X software which is in beta. This software is horrible and several of the core features are missing or broken. Stay away until the software is out of beta. As for the mouse, the dynamic buttons on the side are nice but the circular buttons just don't feel right. Better mouse elsewhere.

    No Mac Support

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The mouse if find, but to say it is supported on Mac is a flat-out lie. The Razer software to customize the mouse settings cannot be installed on a Mac rendering your purchase virtually useless. If you have a Mac just buy Corsair products. I'm incredibly disappointed this company does not support Mac.

This is my second Razer mouse, and I have the Deathstalker keyboard. When I got the new mouse, it does not use the same Synapse software as the keyboard. Getting it to work for both the keyboard and the mouse, using 2 versions of synapse, never got worked out for me, despite several attempts at help from Razer, just not worth the trouble. The mouse is nice, but nothing special, and sometimes, i have to hit the left mouse button a few times for it to react on the screen

    Synapse 3 is the problem.

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

1st razer I Went years sticking with Logitech and corsair and roccat and steel series and used have used many confusing softwares, but synapse 3 was the first to immediately give me bluescreens and freeze my games. I own the 12 button Corsair scimitar and it's ICUE2 software makes razer synapse look like trash especially when it comes to macros. This mouse has zero laser settings besides lift and dpi, Not even angle snapping or a deceleration/acceleration response curves for gaming/non gaming uses, I would not recommend this for anyone needing shortcut keys or a precise crazy macros due to synapse 3, the mouse itself feels great and works great but it is only good as it's software but definitely not worth $100 since cheaper mouses have better programs and have the same onboard profiles.

Love Naga Mouse. HATE! BETA Synapse 3

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Bought it to replace a naga I wore out and loved. This naga ships with a BETA version of Synapse 3 software and it's buggy as heck. Why does a retail product ship with beta drivers? Beta=Not for retail. Still buggy. Razer should be ashamed. Problems with Synapse 3 Confusing layout and eye-punishing color scheme Locked mouse up when it failed to push profiles to onboard mouse storage Prolonged use resulted in delay clicks of remapped buttons and sometimes over sending a dozen+ clicks when I was careful to click once. Bugs were observed in multiple programs including Notepad. Unfortunately Synapse v2 doesn't recognize the new Naga version; downgrading won't work. I plan to return this product.

    Some problems

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've had this mouse for around 8 months now. I have already had to replace it once because the cord would come unraveled and wear down quickly. I love the weight of this mouse, it's very customizable with the button layouts, however if you play any sort of FPS games and rely mostly on the two button siding, avoid this mouse at all costs. Often times I find myself in a situation where I need to use the thumb mouse button for a keybinding but it doesn't respond. This isn't a one-time occurrence, this has happen multiple times and really frustrates me as a customer. I'd recommend going with something else for FPS games, even though this mouse is very good, it's terrible in quality.
