    Razer Synapse. Worst Program Ever

I was excited to get this product until I had the misfortune of plugging it into my computer the first time. RAZER makes you use their program called Razer Synapse 3 for all their devices. This mouse would not come up in their program so I was unable to utilize any of the customizable features. I spent hours researching a fix to no avail. I contacted their text support and spent an hour on chat with them doing the same. They forwarded me to a higher tech support who only communicate by email. After two days of trying to send them a 3mb file which they claimed was to big for them to open, and finally resulting to having to send them a google drive link. They responded with "Please be informed that we will forward your case to the appropriate team for you to be further assisted. Please expect an email within 48-72 hours from now for further instructions." I'm tired of trying to figure out a program that should be the first thing that works with this company. I've had problems with RAZED Synapse 3 in the past where it sent my computer into an endless cycle of crashing to which they responded with "That's really a bummer. We get how difficult it is to get anything done with the current situation. Anyway, stay safe and have a good one." I will never use a RAZER product again. Worst customer service ever. I would not recommend a RAZER product to anyone.

    Could be good...

I'll cut to the chase. The mouse just doesn't have a good pickup for me. I cannot grip it very well to pick up and move during game play. I find it awkward. Other than that I love it.

Should be great. Two of these products failed.

I've been through two Razer Naga Trinity's. Each time was a different button that wouldn't click. The first time was a side button and the second time was the actual main left click. These were not used heavily. I've owned mouse for a while now so I won't be able to return it. Maybe I've had bad luck, but two in a row is going to cause me to look for something different.

Plagued with static issues on the main buttons

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have owned many Razer mice over the years, but I have never had such a problem as I have with this particular mouse. The buttons on this mouse are plagued with static issues causing the button switches inside the mouse to misfire constantly causing inadvertent double clicks or completely disengaging at the most inopportune times. You can blow into the gap between the button and the mouse housing for a VERY temporary solution (this will temporarily discharge the static that has accumulated on the button switches) but the problem returns again and again. I am in a low humidity environment and static can be a problem but I have never encountered any equipment that was THIS sensitive to the issue. I would NOT buy this mouse again.

    MODULES Arent working anymore

Module design is a great concept but now with razers new updates modules are stuck with the two button module mode and cant get it to manually switch very annoying. Went back to my corsair mmo mouse. Also i have tried the mouse on 4 separate computers 2 of which are macs and 2 pcs and the issue still persists. Already attempted contacting razer themselves but no response yet.

Best MMO mouse ever, when it works

Sadly I cannot recommend this mouse anymore, even if it felt PERFECT when I had it. I have gone through one deathadder, one regular Naga, and two Naga Trinities now. The Deathadder and Naga lasted the longest, but the Naga Trinities only lasted days to a few months before they either just died outright, or the double click problem which most people have experienced. I will probably not buy another Razer Naga Trinity, which is sad because it felt the greatest of all the mice I've had while playing MMO RPGs like WoW. Avoid this mouse unless you want severe double clicking problems in the left mouse button after a few weeks or months. This mouse should be no where near the price it is with all the issues it has mechanically and with synapse forcing you to be logged in for your color schemes, button configurations, and DPI setting to work properly. I might just go back to a cheaper 7 button option with the deathadder elite. Not sure yet.

    Very Pretty and Completely Useless.

The software that controls all the features won't load on my PC. It's installed, but clicking on it results in a spinner for two seconds and then...nothing. Without access to the software, none of the programmable features are available. None of the fixes mentioned on non-Razer sites worked. Razer support does not exist. Their support website is broken - you can not submit a ticket. Multiple calls to their 888 number, at various times of the day, always resulted in "We are experiencing heavy traffic on our support lines. We are not able to send you to a support person, please call back later." I left two requests for support on their FaceBook page. Both were deleted, unanswered, within minutes. Further research reveals that this has been a known problem for a long time and they have not fixed it. I'll be returning this ASAP.

DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MACROS!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have owned 5 Razer mice and 3 Razer keyboards. I use Razer because I use hundreds of Macros on 3 Games with over 18 Toons. So my Razer Naga Epic died and is discontinued so had to upgrade to the Naga Trinity. BEWARE! WARNING! If you own a Razer mouse and keep your Macros on the Synapse cloud by Razer you will "NOT" be able to transfer your Macros to the Trinity Mouse! I lost 8 years of game play Macros as soon as I downloaded the Trinity to Razer. They cannot transfer or replace or save any Macros you have already created on "THEIR" cloud! Really? From the company who says they are for Gamers only, this is a kick in the teeth. You will have to recreate all of you Macros for all of your Toons 1 at a time. What a joke. Years of Macros gone. BE WARNED! BEWARE! DON'T BUY IF YOU SAVE MACROS. VERY DISSAPOINTED! $100.00 AND YOU CAN'T TRANSFER YOUR YEARS OF MACRO CREATIONS. BAD BUSINESS.

Will break after just a couple months

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Worst mouse I've ever purchased from Razer. 2 months after purchase and the left and right mouse click just stop working reliably. They will randomly release while you're holding down the mouse button unless you apply intense pressure. Looking online for a bare minimum of 2 minutes show this is a common issue with the mouse that Razer just refuses to fix. Tried contacting Razer about fixing it or getting a replacement and they were less than helpful. My previous mouse from Razer lasted for 7 years, this one barely lasted a couple months.

Overpriced - Requires software for macros to work

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

A long time fan of Razer products, saw lower priced ones, but bought this one for the brand. Found out that anything other that a one button key program requires the Razer software to be installed and running for the macros to work. Didn't find this out until after the 14 day return policy was up. Spent several weeks going back and forth with Razer customer support, they had no clue about the software requirement until I sent them a screenshot. Razer used to be good, but now there are better mice out there at a better price point. Save your money and buy a different one.

    Awful

If you get this the tracking will work for a little while, maybe a couple of months. Then the tracking will just ruin itself after time. If you get this mouse in my opinion its a terrible option, but say you don't listen to this review... BUY THE WARRANTY so you can replace it, because you will definitely have to replace this mouse from how bad it is. Look up tracking issues with this mouse and see the thousands upon thousands of irritated customers dealing with razer mouses. AWFUL mouse and software. If I could rate this 0/5 I would.

3 warranty claims on this mouse

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've warrantied this mouse 3 times now, each time I am without a mouse until I get back the next unit. I've had to buy a back up mouse just to make due in between this thing getting sent to Razer and then sending me a new one. A processes that takes 2 weeks minimum, sure each time I get a new one but it makes you think why are so many of these mice defective? How long is it going to last after my warranty is finally up? I've never had this much trouble with any of my hardware for my computer before.

    Watch out for the scrolling

I loved my old gaming mouse and really wanted to give this one a try. I play a lot of different games and was excited about the idea of being able to switch the plates in and out (which is still cool). But then the issues with the mouse started. The mouse wheel became so difficult to scroll with that you end up clicking the middle mouse button with how hard you have to push it.

Overly greedy company, not worth it

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The mouse seems to be okay, but the moment I want to customize it AT ALL, I have to make an account with the company. Totally unnecessary, they're just trying to mine my data. Then, once I download the application, it doesn't even work, and secretly installs multiple different apps that I did not want. Completely unethical business practices, I'm uninstalling everything and returning this mouse tomorrow.
