Not Reliable
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset worked great for a few months and then it stopped working when used more than a foot from the usb dongle. Had to swap it out for something better and more reliable.

A+ Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent headset and the mic actually works real good on PC. The sound is superb on the highs/mids and the low end doesn't disappoint either. Solid 3d sound for gaming, music and movies. The detail on the sound is so good, I hear sounds in songs and games, I haven't heard before, I would highly recommend this headset to anyone. Battery life is pretty decent, got roughly 4 days of heavy long gaming 8ish hours per day, on one charge. I ended up ordering a second headset for a backup, since I liked it so much. Con: It does have a strong plastic/machine oil smell to it, which took about a week to fade, didn't bother me as much as it might some, since it pretty much smelt like work to me. lol

Not Durable Terrible Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Died very frequently so you have to treat charging it like a chore. The mic in mine broke after wiping it with a disinfectant wipe

Random gaming headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got recommended this from a friend, apparently that sale is almost always going on so I'm not sure if its really worth the full price, but for the sale its very much worth it. Decent battery life, decent sound, better than the $25 piece of work I had before. Only problem is that sometimes the software that I needed to install to use the headset will act funky, and take up over half my CPU and it doesn't stop until I forcibly close it.

I'd recommend them. Solid headphones.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good quality. It completely encompasses my ear without putting any uncomfortable pressure on the top or the bottom. The sound quality is good and none of my friends have complained about not hearing me or hearing music I'm listening too through the mic

overall very good for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.loud on sharp noise, lacking in low bass noise like foot steps etc. batteries last and for me it's not very heavy. very comfy and fits around ear instead of sitting on them and pressing them unto my head. disappointed i can't use them just by usb to console but hey.

Great overall headset!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality, easy to use/set up. Better sound quality than the Astro850s. They are lighter than they appear and are very comfortable.

Poor Audio Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset has a comfortable fit for me as it has a double-band frame (fabric, reinforced by an external metal frame), which is a great for me because I have a relatively small head and need a tighter fit. Packaging should include a USB dongle for the wireless connection. I found that I could get up to a distance of about 50 ft away from my workstation before the wireless connection dropped, which is a considerable plus when compared to the Corsair VOID headset that I had just returned for this Razer Nari Essential. The product does require the use of Razer Synapse to operate with it's custom features. You will likely see a prompt for the installation wizard after connecting the USB dongle for the first time. However, the issues that I have experienced with this product primarily concerns the audio quality. It has been a known issue, for some time now, that when the THX surround sound is activated through the Razer Synapse client, audio will degrade until you are left with either no audio or a deafening level of crackling that increases in intensity within minutes. After some troubleshooting, I found that there is no audio issues when the headset has the THX deactivated and is only outputting stereo. Power-cycling the headset and closing/re-launching the Razer Synapse client will temporarily resolve the issue, but is not a permanent fix. As the software will auto-detect what programs you are receiving audio from, it will automatically adjust if the headset is outputting THX or stereo (this can be configured in the Synapse software). However, the constant changing of audio types will typically cause the audio issue to start. This is an issue that occurs on the various models from the Nari model line, and there does not appear to be any patch planned anytime soon for this issue. Essentially, this is a THX 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound capable piece of hardware, that operates best when it is only outputting stereo. If you plan to use this headset primarily for gaming, I do not suggest this product as you may not get the experience you are hoping for (audio immersion, hearing footsteps, etc). However, if you use this for listening to music, watching videos, etc., you may find this product satisfactory. I still enjoy using Razer products, and will likely buy one of their different models in the future, but until the THX issue is resolved, I'll be moving on with a different manufacturer.

Great for Music not for Gaming..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are super comfortable and the quality of the physical headset is awesome. However, the audio quality for gaming like cs-go and rainbow six siege is terrible. The bass quality is overpowered making it impossible to play video games that require good communication and hearing ability. Even with the optional adjustment for the bass sounds and different enchantments, nothing helps. Only good for music and nothing more. Overall it's an alright headset for music and general listening, not for gaming.
