    So close to greatness

It's great except for two MAJOR flaws. Flaw 1: it's micro USB. If you've had a micro USB headset, you already know how unreliable that connection is. I need a cheat sheet just to know which cables charge at which angle. It's annoying to say the least. And forget charging while using I less you have a brand new cable. Flaw 2: the volume wheel is the same garbage 'industry standard ' wheel that a lot of headset makers use. I returned a SS headset for this same problem. After some time, the volume wheel will become very buggy. Either dirt or hair or something gets in it and it will not adjust each ear at the same rate. For instance, unless I turn the volume to 100 (and I may have to do it multiple times to get it to work) my left ear will be at a lower volume than the right ear. Also you can hear static as you adjust the volume. So the volume wheel is less than useless. If these two items were fixed this headset would be perfect. It fits really well. The frame and ear cup construction is very high quality and very sturdy. The sound quality is pretty great for the price. Oh as an aside, the software kind of sucks. It's pretty buggy and will give you a few headaches over time. You can use the headset without the software but you lose some features. I literally had to reinstall the software last night to get it to work on my brand new PC after less than 2 weeks.

    It’s ok

I got this because my Corsair broke and they didn’t have another Corsair in stock. The good: The headset has good noise reduction and audio is good. Also it is comfortable and the vibration is cool. The bad: extremely short wireless range, the volume bugs out. Every now and then the scroll up becomes reversed meaning I have to scroll down to turn the volume up and vice verse. The mute function is hard to see as it barely lights up so you can’t tell if you’re muted or not. When my mic is on people can hear what’s coming from my headset in my mic. Overall: while it has some good sound quality and is comfortable the bugginess of the software and the short range really get on my nerves and I won’t buy this brand again.

i have been using this headset for about 6 months now and decided to give a review. this headset sounds good and has good bass and with the built in haptic vibration it takes the bass to a different level. the problem is sometimes you don't want the bass to be this intense and launching synapse to adjust it is annoying. there are 2 adjustment knobs for sound and i thought the 1 would be for the haptic but it is not. it is a mixer that is supposed to blend chat vs game sound this never worked for me on pc using discord and various games cod etc. either im missing the setup for this or its only for console. the only thing this knob does for me is mute all sounds in one direction. sometimes it gets bumped and ill wont notice right away and wonder why my sound got so low. the mic sound quality seems fine but it pics up the sound from the headset while pulled out. not just loud noises like gameplay it pics up youtube vids where ppl are talking etc. the ear cups fit my ears and are soft but the part that touches my head gets a bit itchy after a few hours. the battery life on this headset is sad. i find myself plugging them in within a few hours maybe i got a weak battery but i get no where near the rated 16. more like 4-6 depending on what im listening to. the range is good i can walk around through my house into my kitchen on the other side of my wall and not lose signal. the strap that rests on your head could use a bit more padding. i start to feel these on my head after wearing for a few hours.

Sound and comfort wise these are great. The cons are the microphone. On ps5 it just sounds terrible with lots of echoing.

    Software Sadness

So like most Razer products, this is extremely problematic. It is not the hardware but it is the software required to drive it on a PC. I have been trying to make it work for over a year. several things have happened to make me loathe this headset. Under windows 10 the software (Razer Synapse) causes memory faults while using the headset which is a Blue Screen of Death. Under windows 11. Random weirdness. (1 - after it goes into power-saving windows sometimes does not see it and changes the default Output device. (2 disabled power-saving. Often after not using it for a while, it shows up as default (THX) Synapse shows it as available. But no sounds can be played through it. Have to reboot. The sad thing is when it does work the sound is great. Haptic feedback is interesting, kinda fun really. The headset is VERY comfortable. Ear size is great for my big head. THX works really well, even surround sound is great. But can't live with the crashing. If all I did was play games it would be fine, however, I use it for online meetings as well. Maybe it works better on the Playstation

I had purchased a gaming PC for my Grandson for Christmas. He obviously needed headphones and a mic for game chatting with this friends. I had an old pair of wired ones, but the cord kept getting tangled in the wheels of his chair. I search but wasn't sure what to purchase. I went to the local store and a gaming expert employee recommended this wireless one for for gaming. While they are expensive, we were very happy with that purchase. It comes with software to customize it, and it functions perfectly. It is designed for gaming. My Grandson loves it and it will handle many hours of use.

Well worth the money. Most comfortable headphones i've ever worn (with/without glasses on), sound quality is amazing, bass is deep but tight - these put you inside of the game.

Good sound quality with the right amount of comfort. I play 2-3 hours at a time (sometimes more) and never get the slightest amount of discomfort from this headset. Sound quality is solid but the volume could be slightly louder without having to turn them all the way up. Other than that I have no complaints.

Ive been using Razer for a while and these headphones are amazing. They feel comfortable, they arent heavy on the head and ears, the sound quality is fantastic too. The ear cups feel light and they circulate air really well so i dont sweat into the fabric. Ive used Corsair and the Artic brands but they come close to this headset.

Yo the bass on this thing is ridiculous. The haptic feedback adds so much more excitement to music, movies, and games. Sometimes too much and causes it to be anxiety inducing than it was meant to. Love the wireless. Wish it could last longer so I don't have to charge it after every use to make use it doesn't die in a session

The Razer Nari Ultimate are by far their best headset to date and the THX Spatial Audio truly brings a new layer of immersion and the Hypersense Intelligent Haptics make this product truly spectacular. The headset is sturdy yet incredibly comfortable and brings amazing sound quality and great sound canceling. After using them i am unable to imaging playing video games without them, this headset has taken away my ability to feel immersed wiithout them. It's a must have product.

very comfortable to wear. The sound is adequate. Not the best surround sound out there. Probably due to software. The haptic response is amazing though. However, when all functionalities are turned on, battery life is sacrificed!
