I bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend, she had an older gaming keyboard that had seen better days. This has a very satisfying click response and the custom coloring scheme is really cool. I bought this combined with the Orbweaver gamepad (separate review) and it is the perfect setup for her gaming needs. Feels very sturdy and well made while at the same time the keys feel very light and soft to the touch. This was on sale for about 30% off as well, this was a super steal. Highly recommended.

I tried mechanical keyboard for gaming and never really quite liked them. The long travel of the switches always seemed to leave my fingers fatigued. At the same time, I knew squishy membrane keyboards were subpar for gaming as well. This is the perfect middle ground, providing the tactical feedback of a mechanical keyboard, without the long stroke of the cherry switches. I've had mine for over a year now and absolutely love it. I had gone through about 3 mechanical keyboard prior to this, never really finding one that fit my needs until this.

Haven't had any problems with it, the keys are good and the rgb software is quite creative with what u can do with it.

This keyboard is great. Even though I am not using it for gaming, I love the lighting and the way the keys feel. Makes typing a breeze.

Im a beginner pc gamer and this keyboard is just the perfect one for beginners or pros. Sounds amazing when clicked. Highly recommended

The Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard is a hybrid "mechanical membrane" keyboard fusing soft touch and mechanical style keys. It works very well, and is fun to use. The inverted keys (the printed position of some keys) takes some getting used to, but otherwise a very good keyboard.

I really enjoyed this keyboard, the style, weight, lights but i wish it had USB port(s) on the side. Overall, recommended.

Good keyboard. But I purchased this for an iMac. And although it initially worked, it eventually failed. The dazzle of the lights is excellent and the software is so so. Overall not for macs. But good overall.

Not as obnoxiously loud as pure me mechanical keyboards and yet getting the same satisfaction. This keyboard is quality and shouldn't be overlooked

This keyboard is super sick playing with all the different color variations and random effects! You can even make your own. Pretty sick man

I was in the market for a mechanical keyboard until i first bought the Logitech PRO keyboard. I used it for about 3 weeks and had to return it because the keys had so much travel and the key faces didn't have the indentures I liked. Until i came across the Razer ornata, it's significantly cheaper and feels down right amazing. It's budget based so it wont hurt your pocket too bad, the performance of it is solid. It's super comfortable and there's the right amount of travel for each key. You wont go wrong with this.

After owning this keyboard for 7 months y 'Z' key broke and I had to go through support for warranty. Apparently, it was not just the Z key but the whole keyboard was broken because they didn't seem to understand anything I was typing to them. After 2 hours they finally agreed to send me a replacement key. I've purchased a several of Razer keyboards and mice and while I like the design and features, their products just don't hold up for more than 2 years. Some keys stop responding on 2 different keyboards and I have had 3 Nagas that either the mouse buttons stop working or the pointer will randomly only travel in one direction. I wish either Logitech would improve design/features or Razer would improve its product quality.

Great keyboard, $100 is pricy but these will last you for years. We are not heavy users but only time will tell.

This is hands down the best keyboard I have ever owned. I am by no means a gamer but this keyboard is amazing for programming!

Great keyboard awesome value the keys are a membrane mechanical the RGB backlit keys are nice and easy to see I find this keyboard extremely enjoyable to type on

Basic keyboard but with programmable fun back lighting options. Takes some getting used to the feel of the keys if you are used to the Mac keyboard.

This keyboard is really good. The light effects are awesome! If I had only one complaint it would be that it is a very loud keyboard. A lot of clicking when typing. I would still recommend this keyboard if the clicking didn't bother you at all.

This keyboard was a great addition to my son’s gaming system! He promises that it has helped his scores immensely!!! Plus it’s very cool looking!
