The lighting changes with the game you’re playing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried/look at 8 keyboards before deciding on the Ornata Chroma RGB. I’m a huge/exclusive Warframe player/Streamer. And one of the really cool things about this ‘board is; when you customize your Warframe’s color scheme, the lighting changes to match. Yea, seems excessive, but I truly dig it!! Even when you’re shooting or hacking in Warframe the“matrix” effect setting on the keyboard takes affect and it just looks awesome!!! Now the feel of keys are even better!! It’s like your fingers have NOS in them hahah. As stated in previous reviews to truly see and hear the Razer products I’ve reviewed and currently use. Check out my Stream @ Twitch.tv/therealtwy7ch You’ll never regret getting any Razer products. You’re only regret(s) will be passing up getting one and choosing the cheaper made products like Corsair. Which honestly, that company always gave me issues.

Fantastic Gaming Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A solid keyboard with a light mechanical click makes Minecraft and Borderlands very interactive. The color schemes are a blast to watch and have going on to add to the mood of the games. Next up is a chroma mouse to match with the keyboard.

AWESOME Starter keyboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best keyboard for new keyboard and mouse players. you get the nice click of a mechanical switch, but clean push of of a membrane switch. Genuinely happy with, would reccomend!

OK gaming keyboard, but keys mislabeled
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard with a Razer Deathadder Elite mouse. I have had this four months and it has been an OK keyboard for gaming. My only negative in gaming is that the keys engage near the bottom of their stroke and sometimes I don't press quite hard enough. I am not a fan of distracting lighting schemes, but I do like the fact that I can pick a single color and it will coordinate with my mouse. My biggest issue with this keyboard is as a typist. Who decided to reverse the labeling on all the dual function keys?? I have never seen dual function keys labeled with the non-shifted key labeling on the top half and the shifted key labeling on the bottom half of the key. Backwards from every other keyboard I've used. Not a problem for typists who never look at the keys, but I don't type as much as I used to and do occasionally look at the keys for ?, !, &, etc. Still not adjusted after 4 months and don't want to adjust because my next keyboard will have standard key labeling!

Not for me…
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to go back to a mechanical keyboard; this is a modified soft dome keyboard. This was a shot to replace two failed 2013 Black Widow Ultimate’s that lost LED’s and hhhaaddd keey bounce. This Ornata types fine out the box and is much quieter than the clickety - clack of the Black Widows, but keys twice as easy to press and twice as expensive. The Ornata Chroma feels a lot like the Corsair K68 with the tall water proofing surrounds adding to stiffer keys. A second sore point is the membrane which is twice as bright as the actual keys, quite annoying depending on your angle of view. Shame, have WASD, one color, other functions a different color to function but really just all bling to the all green Black Widow. One good feature of the Razer keyboards is the two key sleep function for PC’s, a dying feature with the gaming laptop craze. Very handy if your PC is not close! Razer Synapse 3 (BETA) causes problems when I do sleep, 40 seconds with, 5 seconds without with Windows 10. This is beta so hopefully fixed in near future. So, still looking for simple white backlit with replaceable colored keys, no membrane glare and no added software. Cheers

Love it!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first Razer Keyboard and I gotta say that I love it, when I first saw the box I already knew that it was going to be a good keyboard. When paired with Razer Synapse, you can get an amazing color customization too. I’d easily recommend this to anyone out there who’s looking for a new keyboard.

The letters on the keys need to be easier to read

Great but needs some improvements
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is great if you want to get into mechanical keyboards but come membrane keyboards. The overall quality is very nice and it looks pretty, but needs an improvement on the software, it is slow and crashes a little too often. The positive thing about it though is that the software only controls the light effects and custom keybinds so the keyboard is fully usable without the software, without problems.

Keys wearing down fast.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within 5 days the keys began sticking and delaying due to the metal tabs used to produce its mechanical click. The spacebar was the worst of it, given its constant use during typing.

Two Returns in less than a month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First one I bought, the 1 key and Tab were stuck down. I returned it the next day and got one that seemed to work great. Two weeks later, the W and 1 are sticking. They work 'okay' but it's noticeable that they are staying depressed for a little longer than any other key on the keyboard. I'm returning this one and getting something else. I don't have time to continually revisit Best Buy and everything you read about their support suggests that's a big waste of your time. I loved it while it was working but what a pain when it decided not to.

+ key has damaged click
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is OK, but definitely not worth $100! The typing and wrist wrest are pretty good. BUT, the click sound and sensation is totally broken on the number pad + key. The key works but how can a 100 dollar membrane keyboard can even afford to have a broken key??

Lasted three months and Razer would not replace
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this for Christmas and by April the '9' key had to be mashed to show up. So, of course I checked under the key cap to verify that was nothing under '9' key. It finally go so bad I went back to my stock keyboard of 5 years. Razer Tech support was such help they verified the keyboard was defective but could not replace since I had checked under the key cap. Very disappointed in a Razer for not standing behind their product!!!
