Easy to use. But won't pick up voice from a short distance. Use it during cardio training over Zoom and it's hard for instructor to hear me.

I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. From the moment I unboxed it, the compact size and easy assembly of the unit stood out. The packaging was adequate and efficient, ensuring the microphone arrived in perfect condition. Setting up the Razer Siren Mini was a breeze. I simply connected it to an open USB-A port on my computer, and it was immediately recognized by Windows 11. Within moments, I was using it for my Teams calls without any hassle. The plug-and-play nature of this microphone makes it incredibly user-friendly, even for those who might not be tech-savvy. The sound quality of the Razer Siren Mini is exceptional. During my calls, the microphone effectively eliminated any echo, allowing me to speak comfortably from about 2.5 feet away. Colleagues reported that they could hear and understand me clearly, with no issues whatsoever. This performance has been consistent not just in Teams calls, but also when I used the microphone to record audio for software demos. The clarity and quality of the recordings have left me very satisfied. One feature that I particularly appreciate is the touch-mute button on the top of the microphone. This hardware mute function is incredibly convenient during calls, enabling quick and easy muting without the need to click around the screen, activate a window, or remember keyboard shortcuts. It's a thoughtful addition that enhances the overall user experience. So far, I have not encountered any issues or downsides with the Razer Siren Mini. It has been reliable and efficient in all my uses. Additionally, considering its performance and features, I believe the Razer Siren Mini offers excellent value for money. It is an affordable option that does not compromise on quality, making it a great investment for anyone in need of a high-quality microphone for calls, recordings, or streaming. In conclusion, the Razer Siren Mini has exceeded my expectations in every way. Its compact design, ease of use, superb sound quality, and convenient features make it a standout product. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient microphone at a reasonable price.

The Razer Seiren V3 Mini USB Microphone is everything you could ask for as a gamer, streamer, or even for a podcast. Presentation, audio quality, and design were at the forefront. The out of the box experience was easy, and seamless. You just plug-in to your USB port on computer or laptop and you’re up and running. The design is convenient and allows you you to be able to have your status light easily seen, and available to you when you’re muted, or live. Speaking of muting, there is a conviwntint and seat top mute button located on the Razer V3 Mini Microphone that allows you to quickly be able to control when you need to mute suddenly, or to avoid any distractions with your backgrounds. It’s great for someone like me with reactive dogs that bark at doors etc. There aren’t a lot of options to be able to customize your audio, and it does boast a more simplified setup. I’d that appeals to you, you won’t be disappointed. Although it is wired, Razer did an amazing job and ensuring this does not take away from The Razer Seiren V3 Mini USB Microphone at all.

Professional Mic at a budget price!

The Razer Seiren V3 Mini is a very well made microphone. By any means this thing does not look or feel cheap. I was very impressed with the built quality. The base is made of metal with a foam pad on the bottom. The base is very sturdy. It is very easy to put together and is basically plug and pay. Don’t be discouraged by the name mini, by no means this thing is tiny. It is small but the mic is big enough that will fit in your entire hand. On the top of the microphone there is a haptic touch button to mute and unmute. It is very responsive. There is also a light indicator at the front that will indicate when the mic is muted. The microphone can be tilted but not excessively. It looks like a professional recording microphone. It connects to the PC via USB-C and the cable is included. It can use it for a variety of applications whether you are an intrapreneur, gamer or streamer. I have used it for gaming and it works like a charm. However, if you use a gaming headset, you have to go into the game settings to change the mic input. I recorded myself a few times and played the sound back. I would say the sound recording clarity is superb for a mic at this price range. Impressive. This microphone has advanced customization settings via Razer Synapse app. However, this device is so new that it was still under development at the time I wrote this review. If you create content on the go and use your mobile phone as a recording device this will work with it. I plugged it to an android phone and it worked flawlessly. Overall this is a mic that will fit any budget if looking for a good microphone whether is for gaming, streaming or just content recording. It is extremely well built, it is small and has great sound recording clarity. In the box you get the mic, support rod, base, USB cable and a quick guide.

Compact Microphone With Great Audio Quality!

As a person who uses a pro quality microphone on an almost daily basis, I expect great sound from my audio equipment. The Razer Seiren V3 Mini is an impressive little microphone! Let's start by talking about size. This microphone is small and, dare I say, extremely portable! That was one thing that attracted me to it. With this product, I can place it in my laptop bag and carry it on site for use when I interview colleagues for my podcast. The microphone connects to my laptop or desktop via a USB port. Another feature that I really like is the integrated mute button. With a simple tap of a finger on top of the microphone, I can mute or unmute the microphone! The microphone also has software that can be downloaded to the computer it is attached to that allows the user to customize extra functions of the mute button. For example, you can set the microphone to adjust the volume when you triple tap the mute button with your finger. There is also an indicator light on the mic that shows whether or not the microphone is muted. The audio recorded by this microphone is very impressive! I was pleasantly surprised at the depth and quality captured by the mic! It was every bit as good as some of my more expensive equipment! The only thing I didn’t like was, at one point I was testing my live streaming platform with the microphone and I had monitors placed in my ears. When I would tap the mute button there was an audible "thump" when the microphone would swap from mute to unmute. This wouldn't be ideal if I were live streaming or recording video footage for future playback. I didn't like the audio feedback that occured. All in all, I like this microphone. It is affordable, compact, and it has great audio quality! It won't disappoint!

This is a nice little microphone for those who just want something basic without needing to customize a bunch of different settings. Setting up the mic is very simple; once you screw the three parts together (the mic itself, the support rod, and the base) and plug the USB cord into the ports on the mic and your computer, you're good to go. You will get the option to download some software from Razer upon first plugging the mic in, but it's all purely optional and can be dismissed without issue, and won't hurt the mic's performance. Using the mic is also easy, as the only control on it is the mute button (clearly labeled on top of the mic). A simple tap is all it takes to mute and unmute, with a small light on the side indicating the current status (green for audible, red for muted). The only real downsides of this microphone come from it being a wired device. There's no option to power it via battery, nor does it have bluetooth capabilities, so you can't plug it into an outlet with a USB port to use separately from your computer. Keep this in mind if you're limited on ports. Again, this is a very basic mic, so if you're just starting out on streaming or just want a way to talk with friends or coworkers, this is a good one to start with.

Great audio pickup in a very small package

Razer has long made a name for itself with great gaming accessories (and gaming PC as well, of course) and in recent years they've extended that into the streaming world as well. This microphone takes all of the things that they've learned over the years about capturing great sound and distills it into a smaller package - but without losing any of the greatness. First off, this condenser microphone isn't tiny - I did say smaller, but that's a relative thing as compared to other condenser mics that are much larger - but it is small and that makes it easier to live with on your desk on a day to day basis. The base comes in two parts, the platform and an extension that slightly tapers off to fit the threaded base of the microphone itself, putting them together is quite simple. A USB-C to USB-A cable plugs into the back (on the USB-C side, leaving the "A" side for the computer you're connecting to) and you're ready to go (you can install the standard Razer Synapse software if you want to fiddle with settings). The sound this microphone is able to capture is great - if you find the right spot (directly in front of it, mostly), it will focus solely on picking up your voice and ignore everything else around. This is great for filtering background noise and makes this mic good for nearly any sort of real-time or near real-time streaming, including attending business meetings. There's an LED to clearly show if the mic is muted (red) or live (green) and you just tap the top part to mute or unmute as needed. The intended voice is picked up well and reproduced well also. The microphone seems to be up to the usual Razer quality which means it will likely last many years - and I'm excited to use it to attend Zoom meetings instead of using a Bluetooth headset all day. So if you could use a great microphone in a slightly smaller package, this is the one for you. Give it a try today!

I have used this fantastic microphone for about a week, and it works great. Condenser Mic for Crystal-Clear Voice Capture: Fitted with a custom condenser capsule, the Razer Seiren V3 Mini boasts impressive sensitivity that captures more detail, especially at higher frequencies. This ensures your voice is broadcasted with stellar clarity and quality, making it perfect for gaming, streaming, and chatting. Supercardioid Pickup Pattern for Greater Voice Isolation: The tighter super-cardioid pickup pattern is a game-changer. It allows the mic to focus on your voice while suppressing room noise, so you never have to worry about sounds like typing or mouse clicks interfering with your audio. This feature is especially beneficial for maintaining a professional sound quality in any environment. Tap-to-Mute Sensor with LED Indicator for Instant Control: Whether you’re gaming, chatting, or streaming, the tap-to-mute sensor provides instant control. By simply tapping the top of the mic, you can prevent audio mishaps. The LED status indicator lets you know at a glance whether the mic is active or muted, offering peace of mind during use. Built-in Shock Absorber to Dampen Noise: The built-in shock absorber is fantastic for dampening noise caused by accidental knocks and bumps. The tiltable mic stand allows you to find your sweet spot for optimal audio capture and can be detached for a boom arm setup, adding versatility to your recording setup. Plug-and-Play Design for a Fuss-Free Setup: The Razer Seiren V3 Mini's plug-and-play design ensures a hassle-free setup. Plug the USB mic into your PC, and you are ready to go in seconds—no additional software or drivers required. Advanced Customization via Razer Synapse for One-Stop Audio Control: Razer Synapse offers advanced customization options, allowing you to create the perfect audio setting. From studio-level sample rates to separate volume mixes for playback and your audience, you can manage it all from one powerful platform. This feature provides exceptional control over your audio environment. Conclusion: Overall, the Razer Seiren V3 Mini is a fantastic microphone that combines superior audio quality with practical features. Its crystal-clear voice capture, effective noise isolation, effortless control, and versatile setup options make it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their gaming, streaming, or chatting experience. I highly recommend it!

So in my experience, Razer is used most often for gamers and streaming while gaming --- and I had my brother, who is an avid gamer, use it for gaming while I used it for recording a few podcast episodes. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this mic, especially considering that it is a mini. It barely takes up any desk space, which is PERFECT because with all the cords and equipment as is, something that does the job and isn't bulky is hard to come by. Quality: While it is a mini and it is small, the quality really does deliver. It doesn't feel cheap, it feels slighty heavy and sturdy. The sound quality is very acceptable for what I use it for (podcasting and video recordings).Very little dropouts, static, voice cracking or blown out sounds over time. Convenience: Soo it has limited movable stand that you can adjust accordingly. Then, it even comes with noise cancellation so it doesn't pick up everything else around you. I don't have a lot to complain about because it is what it is --- it delivers for the price point paid and the expected quality. Maybe just get a stand to keep the mic near your mouth because these more affordable ones tend to need to be held as close as possible without being too close.

The Razer - Seiren V3 Mini Wired Ultra-compact Condenser USB Microphone is a great addition to my computer setup. The mic is well packaged and very easy to setup. It comes with the stand, mount, and the microphone itself. Just simply screw the mount onto the base and the other end of the mount onto the bottom of the microphone. The unit comes with a long 4 foot USB-C to USB A cable. The USB-C end connects to the USB-C port on the microphone. The USB A end connects to the traditional USB port of many gaming laptops. If you prefer to use it with your MacBook or many of the newer non gaming PC’s you will need a dongle. The microphone quality is definitely better than the built in mics on many laptops. However, there are a few laptops that have great sounding mics that maybe on par with the Razer. The mic adds some additional low end, which makes my audio sound better than what my laptop has to offer. The mic has a mute button on top for those times you need to quickly mute your audio without having to use the controls from your PC or laptop. The mic can also be unthreaded from the small mount, and attached to a boom arm or larger mic stand. Overall, I’m liking what is mic has to offer for my audio needs.

This is a great multi-purpose external microphone. It isn't pro-grade, but it does a lot of things well but nothing is truly excellent. I used it for a bit of online gaming and there were no issues with others understanding what I said. It seemed to be an upgrade over the mic in the headset I use. I also recorded a voiceover for my vlog and was very happy with the result, especially given the size of the mic. I don't vlog seriously, so I've just been using the mic on my headset and boosting the volume. This beats that approach hands-down. I used this on several Teams meetings as well where most people in my company use the built in microphone on the computer. Listening back to the recorded meeting, this microphone had a much cleaner, crisper sound. It may not be a huge deal when commenting, but this will be a nice upgrade when I lead meetings for clients. It definitely lended a bit of polish. Because of it's small size, it doesnt take up much real estate on my desk and earns its place there. If you're a casual user looking for a decent multi-use mic, this one is worth a look.

I don't typically use stand-alone microphones, as most of my other tech. tends to have mics built into them (web cams, laptops, phones, bluetooth speakers, etc.), but after the compliments I received after using this microphone, I may be making a standalone mic part of my regular tech. repertoire! The mic. is plug & play, and sets itself up immediately. There's a software offer for downloading gaming software for the device, but I opted not to use that. I've used the mic. for both personal and work-related meetings, and when I have asked how I sound to those I am meeting with, I get resounding positive feedback, complementing the charity and sound of my voice. Surprisingly, even my family who have heard my voice all my life, have been compelled to tell me how great I sound when using this microphone. The mute feature was fun to use, as the mic is very responsive to touch. You do not need to slam your hand on the mic nor repeat multiple touches to make it respond. I lightly touched it and the volume instantly muted (admittedly, I touched it successively to see how responsive it was, and it responded to every touch even when tapping it multiple times in a row). There is an indicator light on the front of the mic that illuminates green when the mic is active and red when muted. The mic is slightly adjustable at the base, and allows for some positioning if needed. Assembly was very quick and painless, as it consisted of just attaching the mic to the pedestal base. This mic was great for me since this was my first use of a standalone mic as part of my regular computer setup, but this is a corded USB mic, NOT a Bluetooth microphone, so you will want to consider your studio or office setup and availability ports if considering getting this mic, but it does the job very well, and I would happily recommend it to everyone I know!

Huge improvement over my laptop microphone

The Razer - Seiren V3 Mini Wired Ultra-Compact Condenser USB Microphone seems to be primarily aimed at gamers. It comes with lots of software to use with gaming. My primary need for this microphone is remote meetings and phone conversations. My laptop is connected to my phone via Microsoft's Phone Link. Phone Link allows me to see and send text messages on my computer as well as make and receive phone calls. I also have a couple of multi-hour Skype meetings most months. In the past, I have been told that the outgoing sound quality from my current laptop is terrible. Upon plugging its USB cable into my computer, it automatically began installation and software downloads. After installation, I was able to select this microphone when making my first phone call and it was up and running. I am told that this microphone has made a huge improvement in the sound quality I send out. I have always preferred condenser microphones to dynamic because of their sensitivity and accuracy. While the microphone has a supercardoid pattern, it effectively picks up from a much broader area than my laptop microphone which allows me to not have to be as close to my laptop when speaking. The microphone also worked great when two of us were speaking on a call. There is a handy large pause button on top of the microphone. Aside from the microphones functional software, the only two pieces of the software package I have had a chance to use are the voice changer and the wallpapers. The voice changer is fun, and my grandchildren got a kick out of it. There are many homepage wallpapers available that are fun to explore and install. This microphone has exceeded my expectations in improving conversation quality through my laptop. I have yet to get a chance to explore most of the included software in the short time I have had the microphone, but it really shines at my primary need for it.
