This is my first time buying anything from Razer and anything specific for gaming in general. I am amazed at how good it feels to move around on my desk and how accurate it is compared to my old wireless mouse. I like how I can customize the extra buttons to whatever I want. Right now I have it controlling my volume, take a screen shot, and open/close programs. The mouse has a very clean design that makes it easy to hold and use for hours on end while at the same time looking good on a desk.

I been Buying Razer Products for a while now and this is the first time i buy a mouse from them and i have to say they do not disappoint. This mouse is at a great price and better then thermaltake mouse. You just plug and play. It has a good feel in you hand. The reaction is great on the mouse. If your on a budget i recommend you to get this mouse you will not be disappointed.

This is the best gaming mouse i have ever played with. The fact that you can change the sensitivity of the mouse is game changing!

This is the best mouse I ever had. It has a nice design and the extra buttons are very helpful especially the 4 side buttons when browsing the internet. The 2 top buttons are good for gaming when you are playing different games and you need a different sensitivity.

So I bought this mouse knowing that Razer was a brand used by numerous professional gamer's although personally I never had any Razer products prior to this despite being somewhat of a PC gamer myself. I just wanted a not so expensive yet still nice looking mouse and this was it. Right out of the box the mouse looked and felt amazing. It has a nice matte finish which makes it feel great and also look professional. The mouse wheel isn't loud when you turn it but it isn't out of control its really nice. Also the super High DPI is wickedly amazing! I can control it from the click of 2 buttons right on the mouse next to my finger as well so it is super super convenient that I could be on Photoshop with slow and precise movements then be turning on someone super fast in counter strike in just one click! this mouse is great I now understand why it is used by so many gamers and understand why it is very highly praised for a brand, this mouse specifically is amazing it feels great and has really nice control. 100% reccomend you buy it if you're looking to buy a mouse that is amazing and not super expensive

The one thing i've found hard for me about getting a mouse is the size. i have small hands so finding a mouse that is small enough for my hands is hard. I had a Logitech mouse that i was NOT impressed with. It was big and bulky and the cord came popping out of the braided cable. Now that i have this mouse i find gaming on my computer much easier since i have more room and buttons i can macro. Very good product, i would recommend it.

I love this mouse I got it last week and it makes it so much easier to play, even my friends say I have been getting better just from using the mouse. I love this thing and for $80 it's a pretty good deal.

so, i used to have a razor oroboros, and i wasn't willing to use any other mouse. After a while, that mouse broke and I needed a new. I decided to get something different, and found this. I LOVE this mouse. I have smallish hands and it almost perfectly conforms to my hand. I highly recommend this mouse.

I got sick of my Logitech G700s because of bugs in the driver software, and because maintaining the battery was a pain so I decided to upgrade to the new Razer, and I couldn't be happier. This mouse is super light, really easy to hold and extremely precise. The Razer software (Synapse) offers a large number of options including macros and multiple sensitivity levels which is great. And to top it all off, this is the first mouse where I feel comfortable using the side buttons and trying to aim at the same time. I've never been able to do that with previous mice because it was always awkward.

This mouse is absolutely amazing. It's very basic and easy to use which I like. It takes just over a minute to set up. You can make the buttons do whatever you like. You can also set different profiles meaning you can have different sets of buttons. This allows me to make the 9 programmable buttons do different things depending on what I'm doing. This is a great mouse and I would completely recommend it. It also works with mac which is good.

My friends have all been Razer fans, so I decided to try them out. Just recently went from a Logitech gaming mouse to the Taipan, and I could definitely see the difference in weight and sleekness on mousepad. They drivers are even available for mac, which for me, was a definite plus. I do like the in-game access to see and even feel the DPI settings change. Synapse 2.0 also allows you to customize the the four buttons (2 located on the left and right side) to fulfill any profile of gaming.

If you're a gamer, this is a must. Its top of the line and the price is right in the wheelhouse for the best. If you are coming from regular mouse you will be amazed at how this will change your game. The reactivity is amazing. The control and precision is exactly what you need when you need it. You are able to on-the-fly adjust sensitivity to give you that edge at the moment you need it. To sum it up, this mouse is simple perfection at the palm of your hand.

I bought this mouse for my best friend who is a huge computer-game fan, and he was so surprised when he got it. He plays League of Legends for several hours everyday using this mouse. According to him, it feels so smooth and sensitive while gaming, and he has been really satisfied and happy to use this mouse for almost one year.

This is honestly one of the best mice I have ever used for gaming and otherwise. I have used other gaming mice similar to this from companies, but this is by far the best mouse I have used for gaming at this price. I tried one of those bizarre looking mice for over $100 that looks like a mini-transformer, but I just couldn't get used to it. I returned that mouse and got this one instead, and I honestly have never looked back! This mouse does everything I need it to do and more. With Razer Synapse 2.0 (the program used to customize the mouse buttons) I have created a different profile for almost every program that I use and every game that I use. The Taipan is everything that I could wish for in a simple gaming mouse and it is perfect for entry level and budget PC's alike. The only downside to the mouse that I can think of, and I mean THE ONLY downside I can find, is that the mouse is wired. That's it! I have used this mouse for over three months and that is the only downside to the whole thing. Seriously, if you are considering this mouse, get it!
