I purchased this mouse after getting the black widow keyboard. This mouse is awesome. You can change the dpi with a touch of a button. Mouse also looks great with its glowing green wheel and pulsating Razer symbol.

The mouse is the second razer mouse I've purchased and i would have to say its worlds apart. This mouse cost 20 more than my last one and is way better than a 20 dollar difference. The online support for the 2 year warranty is great as well.

Just purchased the Razer Taipan yesterday after thinking about getting a new mouse to replace a Logitech M510 wireless mouse because from the lag I was getting from. (I chose wired to not get any mouse lag). After plugging it in and letting the software update, the sensitivity is set to 800 dpi, which I wasn't really aware about until I pressed the middle buttons. And lo and behold, sensitivity increased to 1800 which was fast for me, but gotten used to in matter of minutes. (8200 is the max sensitivity this mouse can go.) Now for comfort, feels just like how I use the M510, which is the right size for my palm. I'm not sure if this mouse could also be set for lefties, but there's additional side buttons on the right other than the left. This mouse can be calibrated on for razer mousepads which could be the Goliathus (Control/Speed), Kabuto, TRON and so on.

Decided to finally upgrade my old logitech m510 as it just wasn't cutting the mustard for sniper games. With some apprehension, I spent the $63.00 on this mouse, and WOW, wish I had done it sooner. The game I've been playing is almost brand new because now I can actually effectively use a sniper rifle. I've been spending the last several hours replaying some of the maps as just a sniper because it's so much fun. This is a great mouse, and I highly recommend it!

After playing on my computer for a few years I decided to get the Taipan. I haven't used it for long but I find the mouse the mouse easy to use and easily adjustable.

The Best gaming mouse ive used its by far the best gaming mouse ive had and used and i love it and i use it for cod ghost and mw3 and diablo 3 and its awsome :)

sometimes i accidentally click the side buttons and it takes me to my previous screen, but no big deal, other than that the mosue is perfect !

This is one of the most accurate mice I've used. It's comfortable and doesn't strain you wrist with extended use.

This mouse is wonderful, with synapse, it is easy to get it to do whatever you want with no instructions, or real computer know how necessary. However, some prefer a very thick mouse with some heft to it, you will not find it here, but it still feels very sturdy, and has amazing build quality along with beautiful aesthetics If you can try holding this before using it to be sure it will fit your hand comfortably

Just bought this mouse not to long ago, and would say it was the best investment i did. After my old mouse broke on me after many years i decided to get a Razer it hasn't disappointed me. Keep up the good work

Simply put - It "rocks" -- and I do not mean in a good way. Someone in the QA department neglected to catch the fact that the optic port is NOT flush with the surface of the mouse...in other words....the mouse rocks - makes it very difficult to point and click. Fail
