A decent mouse with one major flaw.

Pros: The mouse has a good ambidextrous shape, although just a bit long, which makes it difficult to fingertip grip with my hand size (19x10cm). Flexible cable. Good sensor. Very lightweight. Plastic feels very sturdy. Cons: Side buttons are a little awkward in their shape and positioning. RGB requires Synapse software to be running. These last two complains were the only ones I could come up with for long time owning this mouse and I thought I could overlook them due to how much I like the mouse overall. However, there is now one thing which will keep me from using this mouse. The fatal flaw of this mouse is the built-in rubber side grips. These used to feel great but have now started to peel and deteriorate where my thumb holds the mouse after 4 months of daily use gaming. Due to the permanent grips not being very durable, I do not recommend the Razer Viper and I am now in need of a replacement mouse. This is sad because before this point of failure arose I did like using it.
