Customers are saying

Customers commend the Viper Ultimate Ultralight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's lightweight design, excellent battery life, and included charging dock. Many appreciate the wireless functionality and comfortable ergonomics, along with the high-quality build and responsive performance. However, some users experienced issues with the side buttons and scroll wheel, while others found the size or software less than ideal. Overall, the positive feedback on the mouse's core features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

Good sensor, horrid grips by Razer.

Was an awesome mouse, however the grips were rubber, and became EXTREMELY worn after some heavy use, and due to the way they were applied, it's nearly impossible to replace them. The sensor is top-tier, that's the main thing I look for in a mouse, 2nd being shape, which I have large hands. Unfortunately that makes it difficult finding a comfortable mouse to use.

Optical clicks feel crispy, no mushy feeling. No complaints about build quality or battery life. Included dock is a good solution for keeping the mouse battery topped off.

I bought this to go along with my basilisk ultimate. I love the basilisk, but it is a little on the heavy side for FPS games. The Viper is very lightweight and comfortable. I wish it had the dps adjustments on top of the mouse like every other Razer mouse i own. There is a dps selector switch on the bottom of the mouse. The Viper is ambidextrous so it suits both left and right handers very well. It is a little on the slick side, so i do recommend the grip tape from razer. Overall i am very pleased with my purchase and recommend this mouse to anyone that wants a lightweight, responsive mouse for gaming.

I only buy 1 kind of mouse when it comes to gaming. And that’s the Logitech G-pro wireless super light. I bought this razor mouse because the Logitech app was glitchy and couldn’t connect to my g-pro wireless for a good minute and kept it after. This mouse feels great but lacks some consistency for me. It doesn’t feel as smooth when one tapping foes in fps games compared to the G-pro. Gave it 4/5 because the buttons on the left are useless to me and because the left mouse button started to dull out very very quickly. Sometimes when rapid firing I can’t notice if I actually pressed the button or not. I’m a a more palm grip user but find that claw works best for this low profile mouse. Battery life is great. Razor app is great. This has an awesome charging station. Great weight when flicking. Responsiveness is fast and one of the smoothest but not the smoothest. Not my main mouse, but definitely a great back-up for me.

Easy to set up and adjust to your liking. Love the option to charge with direct connection, or use the charger. Just set it, and forget it. Battery charge lasts a long time, and i play a lot of games on my laptop.

For the price I paid for this mouse, I couldn't be happier. It's extremely fast and responsive. This device will never limit you in how well you can play. The quality of the stand is a little questionable, but mine hasn't broken yet. It's not as comfortable as an ergonomic mouse by far, it will always feel a little off with you pinky finger. But that being said, I won't be looking for an upgrade any time soon.

I upgraded to this from a logitech g900. This mouse is much lighter, more comfortable to hold, looks way nicer in my opinion, and has a much better battery life. The dock is also really convenient for charging.

Very light, ambidextrous mouse. Small enough to use claw grip perfectly. I just charge it when i am not playing. Synapse software is easily usable and works fluidly with all my other razer products. Con: I tend to use the right side buttons on accident when pressing too hard. May be just me, but its annoying when trying to move your mouse fast. You also have the option to use the mouse directly with the soft, improved mouse cord. $$$ Probably the most expensive accessory i have ever purchased. But if you have the cash, i would definitely give this a try. I would either pick this up or a Logitech Pro Superlight if you are looking for a high end mouse.

I bought both this and the Logitech G Pro Wireless and ended up keeping the RVU over the GPW (apparently GPW has a double click issue that develops over the lifespan so I didn't want to deal with that). The charging dock is so convenient whenever I need to charge the mouse and even then, the battery life is super good, especially with the RGB lights off. The Razer Synapse software is not the best, but it is just good enough to customize the mouse. It feels so nice not being able to have to worry about the wire while I'm gaming. I've been worried about using wireless mice due to latency and delay issues, but using this mouse, I haven't noticed any of those issues.

Great mouse for the price. Got this on sale! Dpi is adjustable and the led lights aren’t blinding. Subtle and can be adjusted! Wireless mouse is light enough but still has some weight to it.

I have used some Razer mouses for about 6 years. Most of them are low ends and cheaper and this one is the most expensive one. Comparing to my recent Logitech G903, this definitely works as a great competitor. I love them both. One advantage of Viper ultimate is the super cool charging dock, which is why I decided to buy this instead of G pro. One difference I noticed between Viper and G903 is the clicking. The Viper ultimate has a stronger clicking sound and feeling than G903, In this part, I like G903 better. Overall, it works great. I'm very satisfied so far and will recommend it to friends.

This review is coming from a longtime Logitech G502 owner. I thought it would be difficult adjusting to the lack of the freescroll, but I quickly got over it. The lightweight nature of this mouse is excellent; I haven't aimed this well in FPS games in a long time. For reference, my mouse grip is fingertips only. I only have had this mouse for a short time, but the paint/art seems durable for now. The dock allows for wireless connection to the PC which means it only takes up one USB slot, which is convenient, and so are the four assignable buttons on either side. Honestly, the only qualms I have for this product is the price and the necessity for Razer's software.

Taking into consideration this mouse was designed for both Left and Right handed people the design is pretty good. However, as a Right Handed person you can definitely pickup on the sort of ambidextrous design Razer was going for. There are two sets of side buttons (Back and Forward) on either side of the mouse. The clicking noise is pretty nice. Little to no mouse scroll wheel sound. You can barely tell you're using a wireless mouse. Plus the charging station is great eye candy with multiple light settings. Charging the mouse is fast, you just set the mouse on top of the station, no need to plug it in or anything like that. Fast and simple. I left the Razer brand awhile ago due to the hyped up costly products. But coming from a ZOWIE ECB-1 Divina, I am pretty happy I switched. This mouse just fits in my hand/palm so much better than my Zowie. The hump of the mouse is nice and conforming while the length of the mouse is spot on.

Amazing mouse for left handed and right handed users! Took a while to get used to the weird shape of the mouse but if you use your left hand for your mouse then this is the perfect product! Their usb/charging dock makes it easier for wire management but sometimes it wouldn’t charge the mouse properly. After using it for months my experience with the mouse had been average, there was problems like the mouse wheel getting loose and the charging dock wouldn’t charge from time to time. But for the most part it served me really well for more than a year so I would definitely recommend this for Day to day gamers.
