Customers are saying

Customers commend the Viper Ultimate Ultralight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse's lightweight design, excellent battery life, and included charging dock. Many appreciate the wireless functionality and comfortable ergonomics, along with the high-quality build and responsive performance. However, some users experienced issues with the side buttons and scroll wheel, while others found the size or software less than ideal. Overall, the positive feedback on the mouse's core features outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

Best lightweight mouse. It's more on an expensive side but it's worth it. I was using different types of mice and was curius how would I get used to this but it took only 2 days. Love keyswitches that they used in this. Mouse is perfect but razer must work on its software. You must have it open to costumize RGB when you close it RGB goes to default settings.

One of the best mice I've used so far! Great battery life last me a solid week before I have charge it with my 4-5 gaming sessions. Super light barely feel any weight to it whenever i'm gaming. In my opinion its a great a mouse to improve your aim since it has the option to set your dpi and slowly adapt to different speeds. Thank You Razer Making An Amaizng Product

I was playing Valorant on my Logitech g502 but I wanted to make the switch to a light mouse, so I went with the Logitech G Pro Superlight but I felt like it was too light, so I returned it and went with the Razer Viper Ultimate. Probably the best mouse I ever had, my one thing I have to say is if you have anger issues, DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE!!!!!!!! I have severe anger issues and I play Valorant 24/7 and it gets me really mad, I've been slamming, hitting, and throwing my mouse across my room it somehow survives when I throw it at 50mph, but yesterday 8/19/22, that wasn't the case. I threw my mouse against the wall and went to bed without checking the condition. Woke up the next day and the left click was out of place and would not click back in. On the bright side it lasted me a good 5 months and it was a better switch going from the g502 to the viper ultimate than the gpro superlight.

Is this the perfect gaming mouse? I know it's subjective, but I believe so. It's perfect for any task, from gaming to productivity. Battery life is great as well, 8 hours of daily use means I only have to charge it once a week over night so it doesn't impede my productivity. Purchase it if you like light gaming mice with the best in class performance.

Cool RGB, but not really necessary to have. Extra 2 button for left handed users on the right side of the mouse. Good sensor, switch, and usable software. The dock is a great addition to the product, it might save some desk space, and makes your mouse looks "premium", I guess?

I really like this mouse. As a longtime Logitech guy who has both the G305 Lightspeed and the G502 Lightspeed sitting on my desk, I didn't really have my interest in Razer mice until I tried out my girlfriend's Basilisk Hyperspeed. I came away impressed and decided to give the Viper Ultimate a try while it was on sale. Logitech's Lightspeed wireless implementation is excellent, and I've never had any accuracy or dropout issues. That said (and it pains me to write this), I think Razer's wireless implementation feels better. It might be a placebo effect, but the cursor tracking on both the Viper and the Basilisk feels just a tiny bit smoother and more immediate. It's really impressive, and if you've been holding off on wireless, you really shouldn't anymore. As far as the rest of the mouse, it's all around great with a shockingly light weight, smooth gliding, a great scroll wheel, and I absolutely adore the charging dock and wish I had one for my G502. My only complaint with the Viper Ultimate is the actual mouse click actuation. I'm not sure if it's the result of Razer's optical switches or the ultra-short travel distance, but the clicking action just doesn't feel great, with slightly vague and mushy feedback. Compared with the G502 or G305's satisfying mechanical click (the G502 especially has an almost mechanical keyboard like tactility), the Razer just doesn't feel good to click even if the actual click response is lightning quick. Make no mistake, the Viper Ultimate is a terrific rodent and a joy to game with especially if you're looking for a lighter weight wireless mouse. But as someone who likes a clickier, more tactile experience (my keyboard uses Gateron Blue switches, for reference), the mushy mouse-click action leaves me longing for a more mechanical and precise switch.

While I don't condone mouse violence, I had a misunderstanding with my previous mouse. I'm sure we've all been there. LOL!!!!! Needless to say, I won the war but lost the battle, because I had to go buy a new one. Couldn't find the one I went in after, but I had several choices already lined up. this was one of those choices. Stepped outside my comfort zone and I'm glad I did. Mouse is excellent and responsive even though it's wireless. Actually more responsive than the last one. It is a little light, but I have adjusted well (the last one was weighted). Be aware, there are buttons on both sides of the mouse. I didn't realize this for several days, and kept inadvertently flashbanging or grenading myself. Thought I just had to get used to the new side button positions. Realized it finally, and you can disable the buttons on the opposite side or bind them to other actions. Download the Razer synapse software to do this and/or change the RGB colors on mouse and dock, as well as add effects to those colors. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase, and will definitely consider more of Razer's products.

I'm left-handed and always had trouble finding a suitable mouse for work and gaming. This mouse did the trick for me! Software and the charging dock is a little iffy at times but overall the mouse is great; plus the white color is visually appealing.

Ergonomic, comfortable with high end features, charging dock with rechargeable Batt is a wonderful idea. Super very light for a unit that has a lot of technology, you barely notice while you are playing with it. The connectivity is very stable, using the 2.4Ghz Dongle (you will need a USB port), which works way better than bluetooth, this is what I like the most. Gaming mice that does the job flawlessly

Although I'm giving it a 5 star review, it's not perfect. CONS: - The charging dock is fickle and often stops charging the device - The ambidextrous design means you may occasionally click the side buttons on the opposite side of the mouse due to where they're placed - A lot of useful macro functions and main light customization isn't possible without running Razer Synapse simultaneously But despite those flaws, it's still a fantastic mouse. Most of the problems can be mitigated, and none of those problems were deal breakers to me anyways. Like for example, you can disable any of the side buttons if they get in the way, no biggie. As for the mouse itself, it's incredibly light but feels sturdy and glides wonderfully. If you had to, you could use it on just about anything. Using it even on my old laptop compared to my last gaming mouse was night and day. It made me feel like I was using a new device entirely. I'm not saying this mouse is the best out there, or if it's even worth it for you since there's a lot of preference when it comes to mice. But it's definitely a quality device that's worth checking into.
