Loved the design and the responsiveness of the mouse, however, I did not like the feel of the material since it felt like cheap plastic. I ended up going with the Logitech G Pro Superlight because it felt much better in my hand.

I needed to replace a squeaky HyperX wired mouse and saw this little beauty on sale and decided to go for it. I couldn't be happier with it. It's light yet feels well made, the dock is awesome and sticks in place, and can be used as a host for the receiver (genius!) to save a USB port. The software is easy to use. I can't but recommend this mouse, probably the best wireless mouse I have ever owned (that's saying something as I go through them at a pace of 2 or 3 per year).

Very sleek, comfortable use. Great for gaming and its cool that it has a light up feature. Also having a dock to charge the mouse is a game changer.

This is great for smaller hands. I think it would frustrate those with larger hands. It is extremely light so again a stronger hand could have trouble with it. It glides easily and looks neat. The buttons on the side are easily pushed so be careful.

If your looking for a great wireless mouse that just doesn’t just die in 2hrs or if your just looking for a great gaming mouse or everyday mouse I would recommend on getting the Razer Viper.. I use for gaming and for work and to be honest with you wouldn’t use anything else I have gone thru so many mouse to just feel right and on top of it a witless mouse that just die the battery life on this thing is amazing and if needed so easy to charge if needed.. The only thing wrong is the price it’s expensive but in my opinion worth every cent.. This is my first Razer product so I’m not a fan boy just very pleased with the product.

Great mouse. Very responsive and the wireless charging is amazing. Love the way it lights up and you cand choose the color and you can choose feom pulsating or solid.

Great for gaming love it so far. Lasts a long time without having to charge. I have a healing wrist after surgery 2 months back and needed something light. Happy with it.

This review is for the Razer - Viper Ultimate Ultralight Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with Charging Dock - Black. This is one of the best mouse in the market, aside from the Logitech G Pro Wireless. I have both, one for my work desktop and the other for my personal desktop. Comparing the two, the Viper is a flatter mouse with a more pronounced click. Battery life is about the same, although in paper Viper has a longer span. I like both of them. In the long run, the Viper is a better mouse because the Logitech G Pro suffers from 'double-clicks' over time.

I bought this mouse after years of being exclusively on Logitech mice. For the past few years, I was specifically on the G502, but I've always been a die-hard Logitech fan. However, my last few Logitech mice had major quality control problems. One G502 had its LEDs go out in less than a year. Its replacement had a broken right mouse button. No Logitech mouse I've owned over the past 10 years has survived longer than 2 years without breaking. So I figured it's time for something new, and this mouse, the Razer Viper Ultimate, has been INCREDIBLE. Pros: - Comfort/Shape. This will vary based on the user, but overall I love the shape and feel. - Weight is outstanding. I will never return to a 100+ gram mouse for gaming. The G502 feels really heavy and awkward now after a few months of RVU usage. - Performance is outstanding. Zero complaints about the performance of the sensor, buttons, wireless, etc. All of it performs flawlessly. - The charging dock is incredible. Just sits there, glowing whatever color you want (or not), it's easy to just put the mouse on it when you're done at your computer, and it looks good. It acts as an extender for the wireless receiver, and has slightly-sticky feet so it stays put on your desk. - The included cable is great if you want to play wired. But don't. The wireless is unbelievable. - Outstanding battery life. Note that I always leave the LED on the mouse off, so I don't know how much the mouse's lighting impacts battery life. The most I've gone is about 3 or 4 days without charging, and I think I still had 20-30% battery life. Neutral: - The mouse wheel is good, but nothing special. For gaming, I've found it to be better than the G502 mousewheel since the resistance and ability to just "click" the mousewheel appears to be better. Cons: - Even though there are 4 side buttons, you will want to disable the two buttons that are opposite your thumb. It's way too easy to have accidental presses. - Razer's software, while functional, is more bloatware to have installed.

This was a Mother’s Day gift and I was jealous at how awesome this mouse is self charging comes with cable if battery dies and awesome design

Second Razer mouse I have tried. First was a Death Adder v2 Wireless that had amazing ergos. Buttons were nice, but windows could not locate the driver. Seem alot of other had been having this same issue. So I decided to upgrade to the Viper due to its reputation. Well I had the first issue is the scroll wheel being loud on the up scroll. Second, it stalls out on the charger unless you place it in an exact position or contacts need cleaning. Synapse works great, a little too great. I rans many background processes that started using my beloved RAM. This might be the right mouse for some people, but not for me. If I could look past these issues, it would be a great mouse. I still recommend it, especially if you get a good one without issues.

I have purchased many computer mice and all of them had one or two things that made me want to look elsewhere. The wireless charging, but still being able to be lightweight makes this mouse awesome. I use a claw grip and I found that many of the ambidextrous mice I tried made it hard for me to reach both side thumb buttons. I have decently sized hands, but found that many of them had their thumb buttons positioned in a way that I had to shift my hand too much to reach them comfortably. I have not had this issue with the Viper and it has really helped me to use the additional buttons while gaming :)

I have always been a little unsure when it comes to wireless mice, but I can safely say that this mouse is great. Great connection, easy setup, and a decent battery life. One thing I would like to point out though is that the "70 hour battery life" is for the mouse not having any lights and I believe a lower polling rate. So just be advised that if you have the RGB lighting going and the max polling rate the battery will not last as long. I would say with max brightness and max polling rate it lasts about a day, but if you have the dock, it makes it super easy to charge.
