Best Gaming Mouse I've Ever Used
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The title says it all. This is by far, the best gaming mouse I have ever used. The Razer Viper V2 is an ultra-light, wireless 30,000 DPI gaming mouse. When they say ultra-light, they mean it! This is one of the lightest gaming mice I have ever used, and it just glides over any surface like butter. You can switch between 5 DPI setting by pressing the button on the bottom of the mouse. I wish this were a little bit more easily accessible. It would be really nice to just be able to quickly swap DPIs in the middle of a game without having to stop what you're doing. Other than that, this mouse is nearly flawless. It feels really comfortable in the hand. The clicks are nice and pronounced. It is really simple, and not overly complex like some gaming mice can be. It just features left/right/center buttons, a scroll wheel, and two extra buttons near the thumb(if you're right handed). No RGB lighting, no extra buttons, no fans, or anything else really crazy. Heck, even the logo is really subdued, and you can even see it unless you look at the right angle. This is not the mouse for you if you're looking for something that makes a big statement. This is as understated as it gets. They really just put everything into performance, and they knocked it out of the park. You can download software to customize your mouse, but really the only things you can customize are the DPI and the functions of the buttons. They give you 5 DPI slots that you can set to anything you want. I actually found the default options perfect. You can go all the way up to 30,000 DPI if you want, but I don't know why you'd ever want to go that high, it just seems unnecessary to me. In-game performance is fantastic. It is really responsive and accurate. And as stated before, the mouse itself is ultra-light and glides so smooth that it really allows you to have so much control in-game. Overall, I just absolutely love this mouse, and would recommend it for anyone looking for a good gaming mouse without all the fluff that usually comes along with them.

Mouse?? What Mouse?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gaming mice. These days they are a dime a dozen, each with their own gimmick, but ultimately all attempting to achieve the same goal. Does the Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse do it? 59g. Fifty-Nine-Grams. Think about that for a second. A handful of standard paper clips weigh more. The Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse (Officially I do believe) the lightest gaming mouse out there. Opening the box we get some cool stickers, some grip tape for the mouse, usb a - c charging cord (including the usb 2.4ghz receiver), and the mouse itself. This no-frills approach continues. The Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse itself is devoid of the trillions of buttons Razer, and other companies had gamers grown accustomed to. For that I say - it's about time! Personally, when gaming I never need more than what is offered here. The standard mouse buttons, and two extras off to the left side. Muscle memory should be for the keyboard (ok, I'm old-school). The Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse feels right at home in my large hand. It glides effortlessly over a standard wooden desk, a mouse pad, or a glass desk (finally!). That has always been a pet-peeve of mine. When I'm gaming at my glass desk, I don't want a mousepad getting in the way. And only a handful of professional mice were up to that task. There is no delay at all when using the 2.4ghz receiver. It is, finally, the responsiveness of a premium wired gaming mouse in a wireless mouse that is as light as can be. But, sturdy and tough at the same time. Fifty-nine grams is all it takes. Whether you are a serious tourney gamer, a casual gamer, or heck even just are in need of a new mouse, the Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse is for you.

Performance at its finest
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re looking for straight raw performance, look no further. This gets rid of all the fluff (lights, grip tape [which is still included and optional instead of defaulted on], lightweight) for just pure performance. Highest of its class, no gimmicks. The price isn’t surprising as it’s rivaling the gpro series which is also just excellent. You’re not paying for less as compared to the original viper ultimate. You’re paying for the research and development behind this fine piece with a direct goal and message and audience. If you’re hesitant because it’s pricy, this isn’t for you. This is for the people who will spend this easily because they know this is the best of the best, when you have nothing else in consideration except for excellence and performance. It’s catering to a very specific audience. Do you or anyone need this mouse? Absolutely not. But if you’ve ever asked give me the best thing you’ve got, here it is. It was a little light and took some getting used to but after a little bit of time it felt so natural and smooth and amazing glide. Lightweight as hell too. Nice wheel, nice clicks, nice shape and color, nice battery life, it’s just great. You buy this, you won’t really be thinking of mice for awhile again.

Great wireless gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got an opportunity to receive this product for a honest opinion and review on it in exchange. I have used various other mouses , wired, wireless and so forth over the years. My regular mouse was at the time I got this was a basic mouse from Microsoft. Did the job but it wasn't a gaming mouse. I have tried Logitech gaming mice before and other various Razer ones as well. I did purchase the Razer Viper ultimate so I had a similar version of this mouse in question. Inside the box you get the mouse, a USB type A resolver, a USB type C to type A cable and the an USB type C to type A adapter . It's 2022 and the fact it's using USB type A is a negative even with gaming laptops these days having at least one USB type C port and most desktops now do as well. I prefer heavier mice TBH for gaming but this does great as well. Lighter then the Viper ultimate by like 13 grams approximately and while doesn't sound like a lot you can feel the difference if you switch . This mouse otherwise is great for shooters and is basic since you don't need the Razer synapse software or anything

The new wireless or wired gaming mouse you need...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the new mouse. The battery life is great and the feel is great. I am right handed so that works for me. The on mouse buttons all work well and the wheel is the best wheel I have found on a newer mouse. I am not a fan of cheaper feeling mice or plasticky wheels, this is very tactile but not clunky. The specs say RGB lighting but the only light I saw was a green power light. I like that it comes with both a cable and the USB dongle. The cable could have a slightly better feel to it but that is not why we get these high end portable mice. It is great for gaming and very responsive. I did not notice a difference during game play or normal usage between being wired or wireless. It is nice that the battery charges whenever it is being used with the wire. Unless you need a lot of pretty colors or are left handed then this is probably the best gaming mouse available. I did not get a chance to run the battery out after a full charge. I am very happy with this mouse for both work and gaming.

Super light weight
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing I noticed when I took this mouse out of the box was how light weight it is... it literally feels like it might be hollow, maybe like a demo model or something, but that's the actual weight. 1st thing I did was plug it into a charger and charge it up, which didn't take long at all. I like where the charge port is located, right on the front, so the mouse can be used while charging if needed to. The build quality is top notch. It feels great in the hand, and the included USB cable is high quality as well. I plugged the included USB dongle into my PC and it automatically downloaded all the drivers and programs needed to use it. I was kind of surprised at how much stuff it downloaded and at how long it took... It seemed like it was downloading a lot of stuff. I expected a set up menu or program to pop up when it got finished but nothing. I hunted around in my installed programs folder and didn't see the mouse control panel there either. The factory settings as installed on my PC were horrible and super slow. I finally found the adjustments by going into my start screen, then devices and printers. There I saw the Razor control panel which allows Mouse adjustments, as well as keyboards if you have a Razor keyboard. The Mouse adjustments are minimal, and the basic typical mouse adjustments that any mouse would have. I'm not sure why the install was so involved when the program is so simple. Over all using the mouse is ok... the light weight is kinda neat, and the glide feet are super smooth. Gaming was pleasant enough but I didn't feel like I had any sort of super advantage or anything. Maybe under the right conditions the light weight of the mouse might help aim faster or something, but I'm not that highly skilled to where a normal mouse slows me down. I did experience 2 major flaws with this mouse that I can't live with. 1, the right click button is way to sensitive... I accidentally click right click at least once every 5 minutes or so, even when I'm trying consciously not to click it. I have to hold my finger off the side of the mouse... I can't rest my hand on the mouse as I move it around as the spring in the button isn't strong enough to support my finger. The other issue, is the left click button. After a minute or two of not clicking on anything, or not moving the mouse, the button seems to go to sleep. I click on stuff, and feel the click, and hear the click... but nothing happens.. I click a second time, and it works just fine, and every time after that works just fine, until I pause for a minute or two, then the same thing happens again. I't very aggravating. One button clicks when I don't want it to, and the other doesn't click when I want it to. Maybe someone with smaller hands won't have any issues, but this mouse just isn't for me.

The very definition of the perfect eSports mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Viper V2 Pro is hands down the best mouse I have ever used - full stop. First, the weight: Razer has taken the trend toward lightweight mice to an extreme here, shredding every possible gram without reducing usability where it matters. The mouse is so light that it almost feels like a prop or gutted shell you'd see tethered to a shelf at a store. I ended up applying the included textured grip decals to the mouse as I prefer a little more grip, so I guess I'm not quite at the lightest possible weight, but it is still incredibly light. It weighs less than 2 AA batteries. It's absolutely nuts. Usage wise, the lack of a tilt wheel is a bit of a downer in regular desktop use, but not something I think most people will have an issue with in game. The sensor's accuracy and customization is AMAZING though - especially the lift-off detection. It is just incredibly consistent and predictable at all 3 available 'basic' settings, and if those don't work for you, you can adjust it even more precisely in the advanced settings. I have used mice with high DPI sensors before but never one this accurate with lift-off. I'm still adjusting to being able to do it at all so there's a bit of a learning curve as I up my game to match the mouse's capabilities. The only negative you might not realize before going into the purchase that I can really present is the fact that the DPI adjustment is on the bottom of the mouse. If you like to change DPI often, this isn't the mouse for you unless you can bind a keyboard macro for that purpose. Otherwise, just realize this is a laser focused mouse with all the fat trimmed away, so there's no RGB or tilt wheel or anything like that.

Great feeling mouse and light weight.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great light weight mouse. I have relativity larger hands, and this feels great in them. Has a good matte fell to it for better grip and comes with rubber stickers you can place on the side. Polling rate is maxed at 1000Hz if that's something you care about.

Lightest Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Um….. wow. When I first unboxed the mouse I could not believe how light it was. I also enjoyed that I got to apply the grip stickers myself. I am kind of OCD and this allowed me to place them exactly as I wanted them. Next I plugged the mouse in to make sure it was fully charged before my first use. Once charged I was ready to install it to my laptop. As soon as I was connected to my laptop I was prompted to download the software and drivers to customize the settings. This mouse is fully customizable. You can get lost (in a good way) adjusting all the settings. You will be able to really dial in the actions and the response speed of the mouse. I have to admit that while using the ouse for hours on end playing games, I honestly forget I even am using it. It is so natural to the fit of my hand and it is so lightweight that I forget it is even there. Like it has just become an extension of my hand and the onscreen actions are simply responding to my thoughts. This was my first experience with grip pads on a mouse. And at first I wasn’t sure how I would like them. But ultimately I was won over. I love them, they really keep my fingers in place. This is a fantastic mouse for gaming (and yes can be used for everyday mundane tasks on the computer as well).

Best eSports mouse I have used!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Viper V2 Pro is an evolutionary mouse based on the exceptional original Viper Pro. The V2 is a well thought out enhanced version. It has improved buttons and over all ergonomic changes that are well suited to eSports. The Viper feels like it weighs almost nothing, yet has a very solid feel to it - a tight grip does not cause it to make stress sounds, flex or compress. The glide pads have worked on surfaces from glass to leather, including gaming mouse pads. The overall effect of the changes is like giving a formula 1 car a super tune-up. The usb cable that can be used instead of the wireless mode is superbly flexible and light. The response to button clicks or to the scroll wheel is immediate and solid. The surface of my Viper is black with a textured surface that grips my hands even if they are sweaty. There are additional adhesive pads if desired for a more textured grip. At under 60g the lateral movement is instantaneous. Part of the design change involved altering the universal left and right handed type layout to a right handed only style. They have eliminated virtually all excess items that add weight while still having a great visual style. A phenomenally great eSports mouse that is perfect for intense and extended play.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is very nice when it comes to playing calm games and fast pace games and the battery life on it makes it seem like you only have to charge it once every two weeks and the time it takes for you to play again is less than 2 hours and for the price of it it’s well worth the money

A very welcome upgrade from the Logitech Spectrum.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First: why did I decide to change my mouse? Before this I owned a logitech Spectrum gaming mouse. There were 2 things that I didn't like about it. I kept accidentally bumping the DPI button because it's literally right next to the index finger button and so in the middle of games my mouse sensitive was always changing. And second, even though the mouse technically fits the size of my hand quite well, I often found my hand would gradually slide back further on the mouse and become harder and harder to click the further back my hand slipped. Since I upgraded to the Razer Viper V2 Pro, I'm no longer bothered by these issues. The buttons click even when your finger is all way at the back side of the button. And the DPI button is on the bottom of the mouse so your hand isn't just bumping into it. This mouse is just slightly shorter than the logitech mouse was and actually I find that fits my hand much better. This mouse has all of the advantages with none of the drawbacks. 10/10 would recommend.
