Mice are one of those peripherals I simply forget about once I have one. I plug the receiver in, I turn it on, I charge it when I need to, and that's about it. Before getting this one, I'd been using the same Corsair wireless mouse for over 5 years. This mouse fits into my mouse niche very well - it has great responsiveness, great battery life, and a lot of fantastic features. There wasn't anything during my transition to this mouse that made me especially pay attention to it, which is a good thing. The first thing I noticed, upon opening the package, is that the mice weighs barely anything. The lightest mouse I've ever used by far, even compared to cheap knock-off mice that are universally filled with 90% air. The difference is, this one is made of high quality materials. Despite its lightness, you can immediately tell it's out of quality, rather than a lack thereof. The wireless receiver is also fantastic. I've used mice in the past where the tiny USB dongle gets bad signal interference because it's around the back of the PC, surrounded by cables and other wireless signals. This one is different, in that the wireless receiver is at the end of a cable, so you can place it wherever you want for an optimal signal. I'm surprised I've never seen this feature in a mouse before, but I can't imagine going without it now. It's practically a necessary feature for me, now. I can't say I did a lot of competitive gaming with this mouse, to be frank. But I did play some CS2 with friends. It didn't make me any better at the game, of course, but each flick, each swipe, and each click felt instantaneous. I didn't feel lag or slowdown or latency whatsoever using this mouse, whether gaming or browsing. I have had the mouse for around a week now? I haven't had to charge it yet. My previous mouse could last around 4 days before needing a charge, and I thought that was excellent. This has given me new perspective on how efficient a mouse battery can be. As far as comfort/ergonomics, I don't have much to say. The lack of weight reduces some strain, for sure, but the shape is unremarkable to me. About the same as any gaming mouse. It's comfortable, but not breathtakingly so. This is an excellent mouse. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the market for something a bit higher end. Only time will tell about the longevity, but I have confidence, given what I've seen so far.

Not really much you can say when it comes to finding a "lightweight" mouse. I mean, honestly, they're all lightweight so how can one really tell if their mouse is a lightweight one or qualifies as a lightweight mouse? No one goes out looking for a heavy mouse.....some people do....but most players want something lightweight and quick when it comes to picking their gaming mouse. Having used this mouse for better part of a month, feel is what you want and this combo of lightweight and touch/feel, really set this mouse a part from the rest. As with any PC gaming mouse, this one has the ability to program/customize buttons to whatever you need them to be. This mouse also has the ability to program lift off/rotation/DPI settings as well which is not present in a lot of software today. However, the biggest difference I noticed was in the optical wheel/switches. Most mice, these are mechanical, they click, so you know when it's been pressed and when you activate the button. Pretty standard fare so nothing really out of the ordinary there. But with the optical switches on this mouse, everything just feels to precise. Everything just feels better and more responsive which is a huge advantage when playing.
