The specs say MacOS, But there is no software for a Mac, so none of the buttons are programmable. It does work as a basic mouse. Also, the scroll wheel does not glide (like the Logitech G502), instead it scrolls clickily

The mouse has a built in debounce timer. Couldn’t change in the software like I can in the glorious model o software. If you care about click speed and jitter click or butterfly don’t use this mouse. FPS players should have no problem though.

Perfect gift for anyone in need of a new mouse! My friend originally owned a mouse that I had before I upgraded to the Logitech G502 Hero SE, and it was time for an upgrade for her. She needed a new mouse for school work and gaming, and her favorite color was pink, so it was like the best of both worlds. She absolutely loves the look and feel of the mouse, and I would absolutely recommend this mouse to anyone!

My wife decided she needed a new mouse to match her pink keyboard and cat ear headphones. Her old mouse was hurting her hand and she seems to love this new one

Great color. The cord is a lot different than other razer mouse products I’ve owned. It’s a lot wider and pliable. Other than that it’s a good, simple mouse.

Our Viper Has a Manufacturing Defect

My son saved up his money and purchased this, and was generally happy with this. But after 9 months, the mousewheel popped out of some internal structure, and was tilted at an angle. This made the wheel largely unusable because it was rubbing against pieces inside the mouse. We contacted Razer who claimed this was not something they would support, despite it being within warranty and despite it being a problem caused under normal use. According to their denial they labeled this either an accident or normal wear and tear, the first is wrong and the second doesn't give confidence about how they think their mouse will last. After getting the claim denied, I found I could peel back the slick pads on the bottom of the mouse and remove some screws to open the housing. The mousewheel part is connected has two axels that snap into a pair of Y-shaped forks, and it had simply popped out of one. We popped it back in and the mouse worked well, although it is impossible to get the slick mouse feet stickers back perfectly. (I know you can purchase after market ones.) However, after 3 weeks it has popped out again. I suspect the tolerances on the plastic supports are not great, and I am not sure there is much I can do to give this a permanent fix. I have seen a few other references online to others with the same issue, and since Razer will not support it, I can't recommend this mouse given its cost.

I had high hopes for this mouse after looking at all of the reviews online and on YouTube. However, after forcing myself to try to like it after 2 months, I just couldn't stand it by the end. The clicks are too stiff and the plastic feels very cheap and just the texture of the plastic overall feels awful. I hate the grip on the sides of the mouse and the shape overall just makes my hand tired after long hours of usage. The mouse feels too long and I have medium-sized hands. The Viper mini has a decent size comparatively at least but still same bad build quality. The only good thing I can think of about this mouse is maybe the sensor but I honestly could not tell any difference from the viper sensor and the current hero sensor that Logitech has on their modern mice. I would rather use a corsair mouse over this and obviously Logitech still has hands down some of the best mice on the market like the g303, although the g303 is discontinued for some odd reason. Anyway, I would not suggest this mouse, but that's just me.
