I use this mic on a DSLR camera to record HD video of my child's music performances. It's made a proverbial night-and-day difference in the sound quality with the video. It's a no-brainer choice for anyone considering a good mic for a camera.

Needed an On Camera mic since was traveling and forgot mine. This Rode has served its purpose well and good bang for its price

I used the speaker 3 weeks ago to record a video. I found that the audio was better than using the camera speaker. I would recommend this speaker.

I was excited about this but it wasn't compatible with my camera. I thought that I could use it with my phone to record sound while filming but I didn't notice a different with and without mic so I just returned it.

This microphone is perfect for on the go shoots. The mic picks up directional sound pretty well. Just make sure to pack an extra battery because it doesn't have it's own power source so it will mooch off your camera's battery.

If this is your first foray into external mics you can't go wrong here. Not the best quality but not the worst. Easy to use.

Purchased this item to help pick up better audio for videos in small, controlled environments. The mic took the quality of sound in our recordings to a higher level.

Great way to amplify/increase sound for videos. I will eventually upgrade to the more advanced version.

Works with with any external camera jack and isn't faulty. The audio turns out as expected, and has great pick up.

Very simple microphone for video shooting. It was just plug & record for me. Definitely not as high tech as other microphones, but still does its job.

It does what it's supposed to do. Don't expect expensive cinema style quality unless you use 3rd party audio plugins. However, still a good quality mic.

I haven’t gotten much use out of it thus far. I like how easy it is to install. Very easy to use on a GoPro

Cristal clear sound that works with any camera w/ mic input. I have 3 of these and there’s some other great accessories you can add on to it (wind filters)

This is a good quality mic however, i would recommend the mic that has external batteries so you can use the microphone on more devices than just your camera. Will not be usable on the cpu.

The Audio Quality Isnt The Best It Will Muffle Sometimes But If You Think About It, This Is The 1st Model RODE Has Made So You Cant Expect The Best.

Bought this to pair with Cannon Rebel T6i primarily for employee interviews which often occur in a manufacturing plant with significant background noise. Has worked well so far. Would buy again.
