I use this to record nature and wildlife sounds from my Sony A7iii camera. What can I say, its great and afterall it is a Rode mic.

My sound quality improved significantly with this mic. Best results achieved when mic is at 45 degree 18 in from mouth.

Using this mic fives me a Good sound quality better than the one from my Camera

Great mic for video recording. Sound quality is great. Got it for my son who likes to create short skits and gaming. All you do is plug it and viola!

I added this mic to my Canon M50 camera and haven't regretted it! It has excellent sound and blocks light wind without an extra cover. Would highly recommend for anyone who Vloggs!

Always will recommend this Rode Microphone. I was using another Microphone when another person recommended Rode. I gave it a try and I was so convince.

I bought to do videos at home when you are ~8' from camera in an open room with 10' ceilings. This mic picks up reverb off the walls and doesn't sound great. I maybe trying to do something it can't do, but I don't know. I ended up using a lapel mic instead which only picked up the voice. If I had a camera lens that allowed the camera to be closer to the speaker that would have worked as well.

Over priced quality is decent but more like $40. If you need a quick mic it’ll work.

I recently started to do videos for my customers, and l needed more then just the camera mic. After reading reviews, l decided to purchase the Rode videomic Go. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I have a Panasonic hc770. The audio wasn’t very good. I added this shotgun mic and was very pleased with the sound. It picks up voices across the room. Just what I was looking for.

I use this during documentary style filming to capture natural sounds as I record. Works good and sounds better than the built in mics on my camera.

I used it the day after purchased it to record outside, with some wind and rain, worked great with my 7dmII, needed a wind screen tho. However. with a DAW you can take out a lot of the wind. Great price!

I plugged it in my Canon 60D Camera and it picked up the sound much better than I expected. It aloud me to have a sound quality that I would not have had without it.

If you're looking to get into video and need a microphone I highly suggest the Rode Video Mic GO. You just plug it in and go! Super easy to use, great audio quality and easy for beginners

There are definitely better mics out there, but for the price you can't beat this one.

Work well for price can hear a lot of noise good for something quick

I used this mic to recorded several events like my husband’s gigs and my granddaughter’s dance recital. All of the recordings are so clear, even with other sounds around!

Purchased this for my grandson who is getting into photography. He was amazed by how easy it was it attached to his camera. Extremely simply to use.
