Poor Quality for pro or semi-pro

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This mic is not worth the buy and is a lesser quality than the internal mics on my video camera. dies not handle the slightest breeze outside. inside sound is mediocre at best. its SPL response is poor and the db threshold is very low. i dont use any more. i ended up buying a recommended canon shotgun mic. far better. not much more expensive. i stream and record for internet content constantly. the rode is not a good option for any pro or semi-pro application. you are far better off spending a little more for a better shotgun.
