    This microphone works. However, it doesn't provide much in the sense of coughing up an extra 20-30$ for an upgraded mic. I had to mess with the gain and everything and I still hear a lot of static noise and fuzz in the background. Overall, it is still better than the DSLR camera mic and could be the go to for an external microphone.

    Honestly this thing works perfectly. It is quite surprising how good the off-axis cancellation is on this thing. It is now perpetually situated on my LUMIX FZ300.

    Purchased this mic to use with my Panasonic GH-4 for corporate video interviews. Very impressed with it for indoors as well as outdoor recording Takes a 9 volt battery so don't forget !!

    have seen these elsewhere for twice the price-I bought a long 1/8" stereo cable and so can use the mic with a separate camera tripod away from the DSLR Canon T6i it was purchased for.

    Awesome mic for beginners. make sure to turn off bluetooth and wifi in your DSLR so so your video wont have a static noise.
