It Does what it is supposed to do. Recommend buying a higher quality Mic.

I bought this to get better audio for my 7D but the audio was still buzzing! I returned it immediately. Gonna try Sennheiser next.

Do not purchase this mic. There is too much hiss and line noise. You’ll spend a lot of time in post trying to fix the sound if the interference isn’t too bad. It’s too risky to try to use on location shoots. Invest in a videomic pro and save the headache.

You get what you pay for. Order something else this isn’t it

It's an average mic, to bulky for my taste, would of perfered a smaller mic

After purchasing the zoom h6 i really don't see the need for this.

The sound quality was the same as my camera minus there was less wind noise...

Thought this would be a good inexpensive Rode mic from the reviews that I had saw. Guess again! This thing picks up so much electrical feedback from WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC whatever you may be around. I used it at Disneyland one day and it ruined some footage. Within 75ft of the entrance on either side, it picked up so much interference! Did the same on rides and even in the treehouse. So buyer beware. I went with the more pricier Videomic Pro +.

Build quality and function is great, but there is a lot of interference when there's wireless signals out and about. I truly cannot recommend this, but the video micro variant will be much better.

Build quality is a little cheap but gets the job done for scratch audio.

I bought the mic. I used it right away. I attached it to my camera. It was so noisy. I tried to fix the sensitivity nothing changed. I showed it to the manager and he asked me to return it.

Had to return it because the sound on my recordings due to the interference of wifi signal was so bad. I tried putting foil around the back, but it didn't work, and even if it had worked, I'd rather invest money into a different mic.

I got this to start out my YouTube channel.. and wish I spent the money on something better. it has an annoying hum in the background and you have to edit the audio for it to go away but then the audio sounds like crap.. I would NOT recommend!!

Tried everything to get this to work on my Canon video camcorder and no luck. Had to return it. Tried someone else's cheapo microphone and that worked fine. Still looking for one.

I had to return this item after 1 shoot because it had a seriously loud and distracting rumble noise. I was bummed because I had read a lot of great reviews. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I went back to my previous setup which is a lot more cumbersome.

I would recommend the packaging to say which cameras it’s compatible with because it was very hard to tell. Even the employee there suggested I buy it

Stay away, unless you like NOISE! Was hoping this would be the answer for a quick hassle free mic on the go... Not so! Background hiss was so loud it drowned out the audio from my Sony A7iii. Spent 30 minutes trying everything possible to make work. Spoke with customer service and they wanted me to upload audio files blah blah blah! Too much "troubleshooting" for a hundred dollar mic. Returned and bought a different mic from my local photo store where I could try it on camera first.
