I didn’t notice a big difference in sound quality. Slight difference but not worth spending that much. I purchased cause I like to record song covers and I would always get wind noise from my ceiling fan. Like I said didn’t make that big of a difference.

Doesn’t work

It picks up sound, but it’s not compatible with the Camera on the phone. The videos have no sound when played back. I tried it in an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it did the same thing. Very disappointing.

Not Worth the Purchase

I had to be really close to the microphone for it to not pick up other sounds. I ended up buying a $9 microphone and $9 adapter to get the quality audio I wanted from this $80 product.

Not better than iphone 12 mic

It is not better than the on-board mic in an iPhone 12 pro. I was hoping for clearer directional sound, but it either produces a scratchy quality or mutes the volume in an unhelpful way. I am trying to return it.
