Rode never fails to impress. I have the VideoMic-Go and the Pro. Both are great, but I should have spend the money the first time and bought this to begin with.

I use the microphone with my camera. The sound recorded with it is clear and it is focused on the subject so that my comments as I videotape are not taking over.

I actually use this for a digital "diary" overall it is amazing, my only complaint is the price. Clarity and sound recording with or without the "muffler/deadcat" is top notch. This mic paired with a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pros is exceptional. When I say diary I mostly use it to record my children, when they make up a funny joke or have a cute story they made up about a toy they have or whatever. I do not have a dedicated room for recording, this microphone sits either on my desk or in a drawer in that desk and I set it up as needed (including hookup to my laptop) I will say optimally to record successfully for long periods of time and at higher qualities you do need a computer with 32GB of ram and a decent CPU (Atleast an I7 or AMD Ryzen 7).

Great quality, little expensive but it has wonderful sound and features. The only thing I wished it has was a head phone monitoring Jack while on camera recording and an internal micro SD card that would be amazing!

This RODE mic works perfect for my commercial projects. Clear tone, no audible noise from white noise or AC’s.

This has put my video sound on next level. I shoot out in the wind a lot so it has been helpful to reduce the effect.

I purchased this for both on camera and boom pool use. Sound quality is excellent and fits my purpose.

This mic from a trusted brand performs as advertised and as expected. Note that this shotgun mic is designed for a specific purpose. We use it on a boom out of sight for video shoots, about 2' from the mouth. It will also work well on camera if close enough. It delivers enough volume and with a quiet-enough noise floor to replace our lavalier mic. The safety track is genius.

New to the vlogging world but this works greate with the Sony A6400.
