Mic had good pickup but poor quality. The off on switch has come off and lost before I knew it was off.

The buttons fell off before I even mounted it to the camera for the first time. Very poorly constructed! I would probably stay away from any Rode product if this is representation of how their other products are built. Returned

Plugged mic in and no sound at all, changed the batteries 5 times, played with every setting and still nothing
