2nd best from the the top rode mic but this is a beast!

Was surprised how easy to use. Suggest adding the optional dead cat.

It works great, and definitly worth the price. But for just a bit more, you can get other high end brands or even rodes with more useful/needed features. But if you need something available for immediate pickup, this will do.

The RODE Videomic Pro Is a Fine Addition For Any Camcorder With Shoe Compliant. This Does The Job Without A Lot Of Wind Noise. Very Sensitive Pattern Allows For Better Sound Capture Quality.

Decent quality but haven’t found it to be worth the price. Camera seems to get better audio than this, which is disappointing given the $. Rode makes great studio mics, but this isn’t their finest product.

I purchased this then Rode discontinued and dropped it by $50. Wish I would’ve waited or purchased the knockoff Boya version

This works like it should and unless you are an audiophile and have more money to throw, it will do the job. Just buy the deadcat if you want outside recordings to be usable.

Works really good. Has Little to no noise if you set the settings right for your camera. Put your camera volume 1 tab after 0, and put the microphone -20.
