    We used this microphone to with a 4K video camera to record my daughter's wedding. It worked great.

    Yeah, it's pricier because it has its own battery - but it's well worth the cost. I still need to figure out how to use the settings but so far I like the results.

    Paired with a high end 4K Sony that had terrible audio quality works great. Did add a fluffy wind jammer. Use underway on a boat so higher wind than normal.

    Had to record audition videos. Used this mic on top of camera. Sound capture is good, but can hear white noise a bit...so maybe capture is too good?

    It should be a good microphone but wat too big for a GoPro Hero5 so I returned it and bough same but smaller for about $70.00 or so

    I was really skeptical about purchasing one of these but was looking for a quality shotgun mic to use in a run and gun setup when I didn't have a boom operator available or the time to setup lav mics. After reading a bunch of reviews I purchased and have not regretted it.

    I got this mic to pair it with my Sony A7III. It’s been a pretty solid mic so far. The sound quality is pretty good for the price. I thought about going with the Pro+, but I don’t regret not getting it. This one is doing everything I need at a reasonable price.
