I’m using this mic with my Canon R6 MK II to record the band during football games. It’s worked out even better than I expected. After selecting the -10db setting, I haven’t had the audio clip while being right in front of thr band.

The battery life on this guy is super good, and perfect for on the go shooting. its a little bit big but the build quality is solid.

So far it is great! Attaches to my camera and picks up all the sound I want. It does pick up my own voice, but it is quieter than whatever I'm pointing it at - so it isn't overwhelming. And likely easy to remove if you know how to do that.

Way better than the on board mic for my camera, but you definitely need to be close and in a decently quiet area to get decent sound. Noise floor is okay, it gets the job done, but it’s pretty pricey. I get the feeling you’re paying a bit for the name brand.

This microphone works very well. I used to have a less expensive Rode Shotgun microphone, but it was too long for my Camcorder. This microphone is compact and picks up sound exceptionally well. The sound is excellent and the features are great. No more forgetting to turn on the mic when recording. It automatically turns On and Off when you start and stop recording.

Awesome mic! Just plug it in and it’s instantly on as someone who has forgotten to turn mics on constantly it’s a necessity

Easy to setup and quality of the mic is amazing. There are plenty features to setup and use, which essentially allow you to tune it to your needs. I definitely would recommend getting a deadcat with it. Please don't make the same mistake I did, when you buy your deadcat make sure it says Video Mic Pro and not Go.

Another fantastic R0DE microphone product. I have the original Video Mic Pro and wanted to upgrade to this mode, the newer Video Mic Pro +, which has even more capabilities. I used it all the time for my Youtube channels to film my new content. I can highly recommend this microphone if you want top notch quality!
