This mic was a good addition to my setup. It is good for vlogging and other task. It also works hood for filmmaking,but i would recommend stepping up to the next mic.

This is not an advanced microphone by any means, but works slightly better than the on-camera mic. Don't expect too much from it. It will pickup up a lot of background noise.

This high quality and compact microphone are a great deal. It is a passive mic, so no need to worry about batteries. It comes with a hot shoe shock mount, wind shield and 3.5mm wire.

So far, the quality of this Rode Mic has been phenomenal for my use. The sound clarity out of such a small mic is remarkable! This has definitely made the voice quality during my vlogs 10x better!

I had to return it because it the camera I needed it for didn't support a non-powered camera. Tested on another camera and it worked great. Just make sure your camera supports it.

My husband and I purchased this mic bc we were unsure if the camera we purchased would have a clear sound. The item was beautiful but we returned because we no longer needed it. The item is great though!

The mic is a good Mic but yes there is a but. The Dead cat keeps falling off, I have to use a rubber band to keep it on. Again the sound is good so im happy.

This Microphone has served me well. I do talking head Youtube videos but the range is fairly strong when recording at a further distance. I use this with my Sony A6400

Overall amazing! Definitely recommend. Will say that for iPhone at least you’ll need the adapter for it to fit into the 3.5mm plug it comes with.

A must have camera accessory for blogging; especially when your outdoors. It improves the clarity of your voice by eliminating any wind noise.

Sound isn’t bad from this mic. The dynamic range could be better for frequency response. The dead cat definitely helps get rid of wind noise. I’m just not sure how long the plastic piece that holds the mic on top will last. It looks and feels extremely cheap. I have already had the back of the mic unscrew a couple of times on me and exposing the wires to the point they were tugging. It could use a rubber o ring to help make sure that doesn’t happen. If I were to do it all over I probably would have tried something else.

The clip that mounts in the hotshoe holds the microphone too loose. The microphone flops around while installed. Great mic but would rather have a more substantial mount.

This purchase was "okay" and while we didn't notice a huge different in what we use the microphone for, there was a enough of a difference that we keep it in the camera bag.

This was a great addition to my camera. It helps when outside and it reduces background noises.

Good mic overall. The only thing is, it only records straight forward from the camra and if you're behind it, you wont hear your voice at all, only muffled noise.

I thought because of how small this mic was that it just wouldn't sound that great. I was really suprised by how well it is rejecting noise from other directions.

The condition was good and I’m still using it without any issues. If you just start to do vlog or YouTube you can try this headphone.

Used with a t5i and at first, the volume seemed so soft I thought I couldn't use it. Was able to fix it in editing, but it does reduce the volume quite a bit. Good for outdoors filming though as it cuts wind quite a bit.

This item purchased for my grandson for his use - he uses this Microphone constantly and is extremely pleased with it.

I combined this with the Zoom HN1 digital recorder and it worked really well. The "dead-cat" it comes with definitely helped reduce, if not completely eliminate, wind noise.
