I bought this to aid in our church Drive-In Services during the self-isolating period. We set up our Cannon Video camera in the parking lot and attached this to a Flashmount dual shoe mount, that sits under the camera on the tripod. This is an easy way to attach the camera and mic without any other attachments or being in the way.

Cannot use built-in mic for good sounding audio of your video. This does the trick at entry level from well known company Rode. I like the compact size and but the mount wiggles too much for me sometime mount swings and attaching wire makes sound in my video. Make sure you move wire away from touching any surface of camera when you record in moving shot.

This works well with the Canon - PowerShot G7 X Mark III 20.1-Megapixel Digital Camera. It is small, like a thick pen but it does the job. Since camera is small, it is a great pairing ad the extender works better than the one that came with the camera kit.

Bought this microphone to use with an iPhone 6 for taking video of my children's theater performances. It picks up sounds much better than the stock microphone, and without the background hiss. I will use this with the dslr for video as well. The only drawback is that you need a special (additional) cable to use with a cell phone.

I was not expecting much from this little mic.I usually use very expensive shotguns mics in my video recording but I needed something much more portable for an event I was working. The audio came out amazingly well. It might not work as well for dialogue driven work as I was recording backstage at a concert and the audio/noise ratio was in my favor. But for this - awesome!

I purchased this mic to help with recording our church services that are now outside due to the pandemic. The audio is definitely a lot better than the mic on my cell phone and the wind screen eliminates the wind. The price of this is great considering its performance ability. Great buy from Best Buy!

A nice shotgun mic that comes with a wind sock and shoe mount with a plastic isolator. This works with the GoPro Hero9 Media Mod. You will have some static noise when recording, but can be fixed with editing software. I personally think it sounds better than the Hero9's factory mic for voice recording.

It is just perfect, good sound and it fits everywhere in my bag.

I now own two (2) of these Video Microphones. One for each DSLR. I use it to shoot videos and "B" roll for my business. It also can be used on a GoPro using the media mod. As a directional mic, it's one of the best for price and performance.

Easy to use. No need for batteries. Just and go. I would use Rode for plenty of audio needs.

Performed way better than I expected it to. I had the Videomic Go before this and with its build and audio quality I expected about the same. Was very surprised as it make of metal unlike the plastic Videomic Go. The audio even sounds better cans cancels background noise over the go. A bit surprising considering the Go is $40 more
