It sounds good and easy to setup . Perfect size to take anywhere.

I have used this every time I've traveled and recorded audio on Lumix G7, captures solid audio every time. The plastic clip is a bit finicky so I've have to see how it holds up over time, but no issues so far.

I bought this item to record a few short videos for a presentation. The audio is really good and does omit environment noises. The reason for the 4 stars is that I had to buy the TRS to TRRS to use it with a laptop

If you need good audio for your DSLR or mirrorless footage this is the way to go! However for Smartphones most smartphones in modern gen ( 2019 and beyond )'s built in microphones are practically the same quality as this. The only difference is this microphone is much more directional so there is less ambient noise.

For a condenser microphone, this works really well. I use this with my S21, and Nikon mirrorless camera. For mobile, all you need to add is a TRS to a TRRS, cable also sold through Best Buy.

I am new to video recording and after getting my A7iii I decided to take a stab at video. I decided to get a decent mic to record good audio and this more than does the job. It's powered via mic port, no charging needed, and the audio sounds crisp enough for general recording.

It's a bit big on the top of the camera, I use it on my Canon EOS Rebel T7i, but it really does a great job of isolating the sound that I'm trying to record directly ahead of where I'm shooting. Sound quality is much better than on - camera mic. Should have gotten one of these a LOT sooner.

This rode microphone is very good. Great for my GoPro To use on. But if you have a newer goPro hero 8 or hero 9 you need the medium mod for the goPro for this it item to work. Well there and that it’s very useful. Great sound quality amazing microphone.

Good mic for my iPhone and go pro. I did buy the adapter to use with the iPhone. It does capture the sound of the speaker very well. downside is if you want a true capture of the sound you have to buy the more expensive one. For the price it does what it is intended to.

Previously I bought a different mic. But inter I did some research I returned it and got me this new one. Way much better.

This turned out to be a very nice addition to my camera. It's built very sturdy since it's all metal. This wind sock helps give you nice sound when you're in those conditions. Overall for the price this is a 5 star purchase.

This mic works straight out of the box and boosts the volume quite a bit, I did notice a quiet buz/hum in the recording (not to annoying though)

Absolutely enjoy this microphone. I bought it for vlogging as well as regular YouTube videos. Only con is that it is slightly flimsy on its own (when not attached to camera) but overall I love it. I like how it’s smaller so it’s accessible for traveling. Check out my YouTube channel: brimichele_

Great external mic for GoPro. I found the media mod audio quality to be lacking, but this attaches to the cold shoe and connects to the camera through the mod and sounds much better.

Works as expected. One star off because the mount is a bit flimsy and the cord is a pain. A 3rd party cage should solve the issue and free up the hot shoe on my camera. Best Buy had the lowest price; rewards points inbound! Liked it well enough that I ordered a second one to gift this season.

Excellent microphone just got back from a trip audio is perfect if u know how vegas is like at night I use it with my iphone 11 that's the pro for cons if ur going to use it with any phone out there u need to buy a 3.5 mm trs to trrs so it well work on phones
