I don't use this very often, but it records great sound, and works well. I connect it to my Nikon D5600. It works great.

I purchased microphone to work with Canon camera. To be honest I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by the great quality.

Very reliable and great quality. I will saw I also own the BOYA equivalent which is also great, the main difference between the two is the BOYA is better for capturing lower voices, while the the RODE is better for higher pitch voices. That being said the RODE seems to be better for capturing "raw" sound so if you edit your audio this would be your choice but I'm lazy so I mainly use my BOYA since I'm usually just filming myself, a person with a lower voice.

Sound is decent, not a huge fan of the clip that hold the speaker on to the camera, it’s a bit flimsy.

I originally bought a different ride mic, this is hands down the best one for the money. I use it with my dslr and my iPhone, with a trrs to a trr cable

I own several top-end mics and they have a place and use, but for usable sound from a DSLR, this little mic offers tremendous bang for the buck.

I got this to record a play at my kids' school. Last year, I could barely hear the audio, but this year, thanks to this, I can hear the kids perfectly.

This thing isn’t cinema quality but it will get you amazing sound for a great cost!

I’m not suggesting that this be your go-to mic for all sound, but for an inexpensive on-camera mic, it does a great job - especially for the price.

This does what it's supposed to do. The audio is clear and crisp, just plug and play. You must get the SC7 adapter cable in order to use it with your phone.

This is a great portable addition to my Canon 77d. I use it for recording videos for our church website and facebook page.

Great mic but you might want to get a mount because the fluffy mic cover can come into frame. Besides that this is a great product.

I use this mic with my iPhone XS Plus on my DJI Osmo Mobile 2. For the price the mic sounds great! If using an iOS device you’ll need the lighting AND a TRS adaptor.
