Not what I was expecting

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my Nikon D3400 but my camera doesn’t have a mic input :).I end up using it with my iPhone, but there’s not big difference because my iPhone has a good mic You’ll have a good sound quality only when you are close to your phone, but not so good at A long distance.

The dead cat that comes with this mic is pretty big and a mild pain to put on and remove but does the job. Keep the size of the dead cat in mind when using with a small camera or a phone to make sure it doesn't show up on the recording.

I have a canon 80d and the sound quality is total crap. So I got this little guy and the improvement of the sound quality was amazing! So happy I got it! It's super easy to use and it comes with a 2 year warranty with RODE. Would definitely buy again.
