This microphone does a decent job, especially for the price. For amateur or just for fun, I would say go for it, but if you really want good quality audio I would spend a little more and get a different mic.

If only I'd purchased this years' ago! You can literally capture audio from a person speaking normal levels from hundreds of yards away with this.

I bought for my daughter. I thought it worked very well, but she felt the sound wasn’t clear enough. I didn’t hear what she was hearing and thought it did a good job. Price reasonable.

I've had this for over a year and it has traveled around the world with me several times. Works with all my gadgets, camera's, phones, etc. Great value for money.

Purchased this to have a better quality sound to my nikon d7100. There is a lot of white noise and static to this mic (at least on my camera). I'll be returning it to the store and purchasing a more expensive option to have better sound. I did some research when I ran into the issue. I tried adjust the cameras audio settings to manual as well as trying a different two-way auxiliary cable and nothing seemed to work. I do use adobe premiere but I felt like the level of noise was too high to reduce in post. Also..too much noise for something that costs $70. If you're ok with editing your videos highly in post to do the background noise reduction then I suppose this is an ok product. I expected more from this product.

It works, but it does not pick up sounds as well as a lav mic. It is a bit heavy for the mount it is attached to, so it sags a little. Make sure to get the other connector in order to plug it into a phone.

Good microphone but doesn't totally remove background static. The rubber holder is a little too wobbly as well.

This mic really makes a huge difference when vlogging. Really makes your voice clear and clears the background noice. The fur ball helps prevent wind noise also. Must have for vlogs

Greatly increases audio pickup. The only problem is that an extender is needed for GoPro to avoid DeadCat appearing in video

Great microphone for beginners. Not the best quality for audio but it will help you to start any project you have in mind.

I did some research on this mic and after taking the camera class at Best Buy they informed me about the mic and the specs on it. Ever since my purchase I fell in love with this mic

Works well on my IPhone 12 pro max when rigged up! as well as my Canon M50 MKII and Sony A6400.

Made a big difference in audio quality in my videos. Comes with dead cat (wind sound reducer) which all mics should include. Not the greatest audio profile but it suits my needs (small & unobtrusive).

So far, it’s a nice little microphone. The mount is a little strange because it’s flexible, but it does good with wind noise. Mounted on canon 6Ti

Mic works great. Sometimes I can see the fluffy cover in the corner of the camera but maybe it’s the way I set it up

I purchased this for my children and they love it. There has been absolutely no problems with it at all. I'm glad I bought it.

The item came exactly as shown. It was boxed well. It was wasy to apply to my camcorder. the wind noise was greatly reduced.
