Very flimsy and tilted down. Was a struggle to get it facing straight instead of angling down or up.

I used this microphone on my ios cellphone with a converter and tried it with several recorder apps, but I didn't get the result I expected for my videos.

Gave a buzz in the audio right out of the box. Would not buy again

I'm disappointed because right out of box it was faulty. Background hiss that took some time to track down to this mic. Before thought it was the camera causing the hiss. Now testing on Android, even worse hiss. Trying to get warranty coverage and no luck. Only way is through a very confusing website. I wish I had waited and spent this money toward a professional mic.

I bought this item for quick voiceovers and short ASMR baking videos after seeing the reviews; however I wish I didn't. The sound is completely muffled and goes in and out like I'm underwater or as if there's a blanket over it? This is with the dead cat OFF too. My connections are tightly in place and I even go into the closet to film for the best sound quality, and I still get a weird muffled result. My phone microphone is more crisp and clear than this microphone which is such a bummer. A let down from a highly rated mic company

I use my camera for auditions for national Casting projects, This mic is an all around mic that was exactly like the regular mic available already on my camera (Canon T3i). It's because it is a multi-directional mic, but for what I was needing I needed a Uni-Directional mic. The reason I'm giving it one star instead of maybe 3, is because it wasn't a case of simply being the wrong product, it was more the fact that even with that fluffy thing on it, it didn't cut the noise AT ALL. Largely useless.

Can’t tell the difference between the 90d internal mic and this one. Clearly I need to find out how to change a setting to take advantage of the sound quality promised.

because it multi directional, as well as most likely a lack luster quality, my DSLR (Canon T3i, quite old as well), it is literally no different than the regular equipment. It is such a shame that I haven't had the chance to use it, and when I did, how I wish I could return it. . . . spring for the shot gun mic (From Rode's, works excellent), this particular mic is kind of a waste in my eyes.

I purchased for use on both my Nikon D7500 and my Osmo Action camera. Honestly, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong of I have a defective item. I cannot tell any difference what so ever on either of those devices. I wish there was a light or something that tells you that it's actually on. I'm planning on returning this.

Mic Sounded ok but wind noise wasn't blocked buy Cat Tail. forget about mounting it to a tripod it only mounts One way they should include at least a adaptor to mount it. I couldn't mount it, So, I returned it. I wasn't impressed buy it.

Regret buying, regret that I didn't notice Best Buy's very poor (15-day) return policy. Bought for GoPro and couldn't use without buying another expensive accessory.

My voice recorded low from 2 to 3 feet away. It would pick up the surrounding sounds better.

I used it to record a presentation it worked on the test but not when it counted. 6 hours of a presentation recorded without sound. Don’t waste your money.

No difference in quality what so ever! Don't waste your time. Purchase a SmartMike+. Cost is twice the amount but totally worth it.

DON"T BUY IT (NEVER WORKS WITH GOPRO) I thought it was working for a year, but it turned out it wasn't working. It's the worst.

Returned, does not work for recording video on Nikon D-850, Rode makes good mics, but his needs powered input

Does not work without a AMP either in line or boost firmware in video cam. Did not work with my canon. Needs a built in power signal amp.

Waste of money. Sounds like junk. CS suggested using it with an ap but that didnt help.

I wouldn’t give this as a gift or use myself id rather find somewhere else to get cheaper and better
