Careful on your mic need!

Does not work with a camcorder even with Vivitar products. Just a fare warning before buying together. Might work with others and ask questions to your Best Buy before getting.

OK mic but not super impressed

Downside, it super way overmodulates the audio unless you turn the gain WAY down as low as possible. Audio is useless otherwise. Also lost a star because BB used Roadie to deliver, and they put it in my mailbox at 12:30am! Ridiculous.

I have tried both cables included in the box to connect it to the camera and zero audio is recorded. Once the microphone cable is disconnected, the built-in microphone records audio. Can someone please contact me, before I am forced to return it to the store? I want to give this product Zero Stars but it seems I am forced to give it at least one star to submit the review.
