I asked BestBuy employee about the device for any connection needs to connect to my iPhone and they said no, everything you need is on the box! So I bought the microphone and backed home, then I figured out it’s need a converter cable, so I canceled my recording and at the next 2 days I searched a lot of Best Buy stores to find that converter cable!!!!

I when to the store to find a rode wireless microphone and they do everything to help me my visit was amazing I am so happy and totally recommend Best Buy they have everything the you need for the best quality and price, thank you so much for your service keep doing the excellent job

I needed a microphone last minute for a documentary. Bought these to replace my tascam dr 10L. Bought them on the way to the location. Watched YouTube videos on the way to see how to work them. Made it to the location, put them on their chargers. Red flag number one, no charging case, yes they come with their own charging cable, however I had to find 3 adapters to plug all three in. I felt it was going to be cumbersome. So trying to connect them, being a one woman band, setting up lights, camera, decorations, etc. It did not work the way I planned. Thank God for on camera mics and the zoom i had. After the shoot I returned these and purchased dji wireless mics.

Pretty decent product, but difficult to understand how to use it and does not come with all the required extension wires. Instructions on the website are easier, the booklet that comes with it does not elaborate on the usage details

Great for shooting interview audio its a must have for videographers.

Rode quality is a 5/5 but the 4/5 rating comes from the difficulty in getting these setup. They required a firmware update before they would charge. I did not see that in the instructions or quick start guide. Spent a while googling the issue before I could get them working. After that, all good.

Bought these to use in our wedding in a couple of months. They are extremely pricey and I probably would have found an alternative if I didn't have a gift card to use. The learning curve for operation is steep, but once you get the settings dialed in, you're good to go. I love the onboard storage option.
