Purchased to use with Insta360 X3 camera. Installation went ok but the Rode Central apps will not work on my iPad or my iMac running Ventura. Disappointing.

These cost $300 by the time we went by their pay off terms we would have paid $1400. How is that okay

The "Pro" has better transmitter units while also including the RODE charging case ($75 value) and two lavalier accessory microphones (valued at $80 each). Either way, both are great kits but the PRO is much more bang for the buck.

Now with the incorporation of additional mic as part of the package, its perfect for almost EVERY occasion. Wish the case was the hard case but it is what it is.

I also enjoy how the 2 microphones are split left/right mono instead of coming through as stereo. The reason why this losing points is there is no way to adjust the gain on the microphone (transmitter). You can adjust the incoming volume for BOTH microphones on the reciever but if you have a particularly loud speaker, there is nothing you can do to prevent the audio from clipping. Worth it to have as a backup in your camera bag
