Purchased the rode wireless mic (2 transmitters and 1 receiver) only a couple of days prior to a wedding. worked perfectly out of the box with a cannon video recorder.

Prefect for weddings and podcast!! Great quality and build. I used the first edition and decided to upgrade for the "always record" feature. Perfect!!!

Love these. One thing though, to hook up to your phone you need to update their firmware using a PC. Use these to record sound for my music.

I’m not sure what is worse this product or the Best Buy in my town and let me explain why. I’m needing to find a good wireless mic set to pair to my DJI Osmo action 3. I watch quite a few different reviews and decide to go with the DJI kit thinking best bet for compatibility would be sticking with the same brand. Well just like when I went to my local Best Buy to pick up a wireless headset for my Xbox they had none in stock and just like the time before that when I stopped in to grab a curved gaming monitor they have 4 on display but none in stock. I was told I had to order all of them. They don’t stock any of the units. I guess by now I shouldn’t have been surprised. So I find the Rode Go ii. After watching serval review videos I think that it’s a great product and given this is really my only option without having to wait on shipping I go with it. Get to the store and go figure they are out of the dual mic kit that the webpage listed as in stock and they only have the single. No biggie 1 mic will get the job done. Get it home and go to turn the Receiver and mic on and what would you know there dead. I plug them into the charger and they won’t charge. So I think to myself well maybe there super dead and need more time to charge. Leave both on the chargers over night wake up next morning excited to turn them on and use them and bam no go. They’re still dead and won’t take a charge. So next day I find some time to take them back and get another one. And I guess I should have thought more about this as the guy pulled out the first in the row that if the first one had dead batteries from sitting for who knows how long the box behind would be the same. But I thought I just got a bad one. Pick up another set get home and wouldn’t you know second one after wasting hours of my time once again waiting for them to charge won’t take a charge still. So never even got the chance to turn them on. I feel that this is definitely a sign of the battery quality if just sitting on the shelf for a few months will kill them who knows how long they would have lasted in the long run. Will spend the extra little bit of money and go with the DJI kit as I should have done in the beginning. I wouldn’t waste my money on this product save yourself the headache.
