It’s important to know that the “bars” on your phone screen do not show you the full picture of your signal and you can have a benefit from Reach Antenna without seeing an extra “bar”. Often times Reach Antenna performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.

The reason for this is that your phone's signal strength is measured in dB’s which use a logarithmic scale that is non linear like the earthquake scale. This means that you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5X signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. A full bar of improvement for your signal takes 10 dBs, which equals a VERY BIG 10X improvement in your signal.
