Posted .Sorry you were having trouble swiping the chipped cards. It is best to use a Contactless + Chip reader as well to protect yourself from any lost disputes due to the magstripe reader not being EMV compliant.

Got to swipe the card more than once to receive payment. Should be putting a tap option since cards can be tapped now

Garbage for Me

To me it’s all one package and I didn’t think any third party was making the software. Either way this left me in the lurch right before an event, resulting in significantly less revenue than I would have otherwise been able to generate.

I then went to sign up for square on the app, and they sent me one for free. So now I have two, and I only need one. So I could have just gotten one for free, without purchasing the one from Best Buy. But as for square itself, nowhere does it say that they will charge you. I thought I was under the “free” square basic package, with no fees. But I was charged 20$ and I had not even used my square yet. I deactivated my account.
