Having been a kid in the 90's when virtual reality came and went, it's a great insight into the future of how we need to unplug. Lots of nostalgic references and a great story line.

No doubt about it, this was my all time FAVORITE movie to come out this year! its a geeky movie, but very little details will be given if you have not seen this movie.A must buy!!!

I am not usually a fan of CGI movies but they have become more common place these days. With this one you get the direction and vision of Spielberg, which makes it a great film.

Great movie for the whole family and original concept

This is not Steven Spielberg’s best movie, but it is a solid piece of work and the visuals are great. The costume design should have won an Oscar, but it is so integral as to become invisible. The sound of the film will test your speakers and give your subs a workout. Enjoy the ride.

This movie is filled with gaming and 80s references that are a lot of fun. My buddy likes the movie and my wife loves the movie. I didn’t expect to like this movie, but I did.

I always buy movies with the digital download. This one requires the use of Movies Anywhere. Not a bad service, I was able to add it to that account and download it in iTunes.

Loved this movie and it looks great. I love the special effects and the little Easter Eggs they have hidden through-out the movie. I was an 80’s kid and I loved remembering it

At first I didn’t know what to expect. but after watching the movie ,I was very happy I made the purchase.the movie is filled with action & the special fx are awesome!!

1 of my favorite films of 2018. I loved it when I saw it in theaters, and I still love it now! The directing, and special effects are A1. My only gripe is I didn’t think the love story in the film was needed, but it didn’t take away my overall enjoyment. Steven Spielberg has done it again!

How many times has a book been adapted into a movie and missed the mark? Well, this one stays true to the story line. While not 100% accurate, the movie remembers it's roots.

My kids and I watched this together. They love video games, so they were a;; about this movie. I loved the '90s references in the movie, updated a little bit from the book.

This is such a great movie! The quality is out of this world. Pair this with an Ultra HD 4K player and it is the best movie experience in the world! We watch this movie all the time and love it so much!! Although it does seem a little different, it's super cool and fun!

If you grew up in the 80's or 90's this movie is a trip down memory lane. Lots of pop culture characters in this movie, good story, very entertaining. a definite must own.

The movie was amazing. I didnt expect too much from this movie, but it proved me wrong. The steel book looks great and is a nice addition for any one collecting steel books

This movie was my favorite of all the movies I've watched in a long time! Great CGI graphics, great plot line and really entertaining. Will be watching this again.

I'll admit, I didn't read the book. My friends who had read it were extremely enthusiastic about it, so when a movie was announced they all said 'this will be the movie to see in 2018.' I was skeptical. My skepticism was met with a movie that's more CG than live-action. The CG - in 2018's time - is beyond phenomenal. It doesn't shoot for hyper-realism when in the Oasis, which was a smart move. You know you're in the Oasis and it doesn't try so hard to be reality - it is the escape from reality it's meant to be. After watching the behind-the-scenes material, my mind was blown to realize when CG used in the live-action shots because (with the exception of skyline elements that obviously don't exist) I literally couldn't tell CG was in use. What was meant to be real, looked real, indistinguishable from reality, in direct contrast to the Oasis. Gotta hand it to Spielberg - great work here. The story is littered with 80s references. Back to the future is the most prominent one. Then they traverse video games from the 80s to 2010s - Moral Kombat, Dig Dug, Pitfall, Street Fighter, Halo .. anyone who likes video games will find a cameo in this movie. These homages served to add to the distinctiveness of the movie. Usually these things turn out to be distractions - so again to the leadership and vision on the visuals in the movie, my hats off to everyone who made Ready Player One what it is. The story is easy to digest, and feels human even as the characters bounce between reality and the Oasis. Each character learns something in this movie. Each character likely represents someone you already know in real life. The person hiding their gender identity, the fact they're an 11 year old, someone with embarrasing physical feature, the greedy corporate leader, and so on. These characters grow and develop, and I don't want to spoil any of it. :) Having watched this four times - once in the theatre and three on the BluRay - I get something more out of it every time I watch it. This is truly a feel-good movie for 2018. It's relatable, fun, exciting, a little scary at times (The Shining Scene)... family fun. So, I really recommend adding this one to your collection.

Such an awesome film! They have references from so many films and video games with a great story line that intertwines them all. Its a film I enjoy every time I watch it!

This movie encompasses an excellent story, breathtaking visuals, engrossing direction, great acting, and a story which included many memories of my childhood in the '80s.
