Saw it twice in theaters, and knew I had to have this limited edition steelbook. As a kid of the 80's and lifelong gamer, this one was definitely for me!

A fun, action-packed, CGI extravaganza. This is one 4K that will show off your 4K tv and sound system. Worth a purchase.

Originally watched on a plane to Chicago and enjoyed the film and it’s call back to retro times when I was growing up... 80’s forever! Lol

The storyline is interesting but the sound editing and visuals are the reason I own this. Get your Dolby Atmos tuned in!

Movie was decent in Theater, but 4K transfer goes beautifully on any 1080p or 4K TV. Glad I picked this one up, and the sound quality to boot was excellent.

Spielberg’s back! RP1 is a return to form for the most influential filmmaker ever to grace the silver screen. RP1 is a great piece of family entertainment!

I can’t really review this as I had not watched it yet. Actually only purchased it because my husband wanted to see it.

I really liked this movie. While not exactly like the book, Kline wrote the movie's screenplay such that it can translate to screen better, and Spielberg, as usual, did a great job making it. The extra content on the disc is also very interesting and worth watching.

A great movie for anyone who likes video games. Good plot, fast paced and holds your interest. Not an Oscar winner but a great "what shall we watch" flick.

I thought the movie was ok when I saw it in the theaters. I decided to watch it again recently and thought I was a really good movie loaded with incredible visual effects and great pop culture references. Definitely worth buying the 4k dvd.

but this movie is not the same as the book, if it were the movie would be 3 hours long. they do capture the essence of what the book was portraying though.

Spielberg does it again. Great film adaptation of a book, Spielberg brings the book to life with modern day references, enough to keep everyone entertained

This is a good movie for all ages. If you like video games or sci fi, you will like this. It's a good story with both serious and lighthearted moments.

Definitely a movie worth watching in 4K HDR. The movie itself wasn't amazing but still highly entertaining, love all the gaming and culture references.

Despite having many alterations from the fantastic Ernest Cline novel, Spielberg’s adaptation is filled with laughs, action, and plenty of 80’s nostalgia.

I heard a lot of good things about this movie and when I saw it was on sale for Black Friday I could not resist and I was definitely not disappointed!
