I bought this because I liked the movie, had a rip from a DVD, and now the digital version is better.

Fun movie for older and younger (my kids 10+). Appreciate the streaming option and we purchased on sale for $12.

Great movie with great effects! Lots of nostalgic moments with many little Easter eggs of the past.

A good interpretation of a intriguing book, done well by Mr. Spielberg. While the story is a little watered down and more localized than the book, it retains the central story well, and the visuals and action are as much fun as you'd expect. My only real complaints with the film would be with the antagonist's arc (specifically the ending, which felt a little muted compared to the rest of the film's scenes) and the fact that they lost the global feeling that the book encompassed - all the characters in the film are apparently living within 100 miles of one another, while in the book they stretched across the globe, which given the scale of the Oasis would be more believable. Since the Oasis is a VR world wide web, having all of the characters, from the heroes to the villain to the supporting roles, based within a heartbeat of one another really felt like it lost that grand sense of scale, even in a virtual reality world where there are literally planet-sized worlds to explore. The book captured this feeling so much better. Other than that, a really enjoyable film. Grab a quarter and play.

Love this movie! Cant wait to watch in in 4K! Only saw this in theatres once, but it is a good one.
