Ready Player One is a fun combination of an inspired script and Steven Spielberg taking a foray into the motion capture realm. I enjoyed it and my wife is even more addicted to it. Especially at the current price, it's kind of hard to argue against adding it to one's Blu-ray collection if you plan to watch it more than once. This copy didn't include the digital version, but that's pretty common on reduced price Blu-rays that are a few years old.

Good movie for family, brings a good message towards the end.

Keep in mind this is a "fake 4K" transfer - MTG it is upscaled from a lower resolution. That said, there is still a noticeable difference over the standard Blu-ray. Decent amount of extras are included in the movie itself is fun. Worth a pick up if you can get it for cheap.

The movie is a lite version of the book. The book is much better.

Steven Spielberg is one of the, if not THE, most accomplished directors in cinema. That said, Ready Player One, while full of style and fantastic visuals, is lacking in substance. Growing up as a child in the 80's an dearly 90's, it was cool to see all the Easter Eggs hidden in this movie.
