I'm not a "gamer," but something just sucked me right into this futuristic gaming story. I liked the fact that anybody could be anything they desired, and "the people" were able to take on the "corporate geeks." But what I liked the best was that this flick had a BIG HEART. I've already watched it several times, and it's one of those movies in which I see something new every time I watch it.

It’s just entertaining. Nothing too deep or heavy, but it’s fun.

I really liked this movie. Was a little slow in a few places.

Now while I did give this a 5 star rating I think part of me did that because of how much I LOVED the book. The movie to me fails in some areas next to the book, but then again which ones don't really? That being said I still found that I have a great time watching this movie and it has not gotten old. If you are a fan of the books I would say give it a few watches without thinking about where and how it is different and like me you might just find that you can like them both separately for their own uniqueness.

I LOVE this movie! I usually don't go to see teen angst films, but this one drew me in from the trailer! I went with a friend of mine and I LOVED it; I determined I HAD to have it when it came out, and wouldn't you know, I wasn't disappointed: colors are sharp, the sound is great, the film is PACKED with cameos, 80s stuff I grew up on, plus some really good acting. The only character I thought was undercooked was the architect of the vr universe, but other than him, I loved the other characters. GET this one!!

if you want to be in nostalgia filled movie, get this one.

This movie has some amazing visuals and it’s looks very good in 4K. However, the movie just fell flat for me. Predictable story that tries to reel you in on nostalgia. I really enjoyed all the references and Easter eggs, but at the end of the day that’s all this movie is.

A must own. Was cool seeing all those characters in one movie.

This gem of a movie is so full of hidden nodes to other movies and such that you really have to watch it over and over and still come away with finding more each time. A very wonderful story and a suburb ending that makes you joyful. This is one of those movies that you can just sit back and just be entertained from start to finish or you can think on it as it rolls out in front of your eyes and ears. This movies purchase will be pleasing to anyone's collection for how much fun it will be every viewing.
