I loved this movie! I haven't read the book so I didn't have anything to compare it to. The action, the story line, the acting was all great. I've watched this movie several times already!

really liked the movie , now I can watch anytime I wish

Anyone who grew up in the 80s, enjoys 80s movies like Back to the Future and Breakfast Club, or are into video games (old and new) will get a kick out of this movie. It has so many references (hidden and overt) that its worthy of a second watch just to identify the ones you missed the first time around.

At first I was doubtful about this movie, but what a pleasant surprise. It's very entertaining especially for geeks like me :) Highly recommended for sci-fi and anime fans.

This movie is awesome for any video game fan. It has a bunch of references from All different video games from the 80s. It also has some very cool movie references. Definitely a mist buy!!

This movie was for sale at a great price ($9.99) and I had seen it in the theatres and it was phenomenal, even though I didn't read the books. Well worth the price to add to my collection

I never read the book and didn't watch the movie during its theatrical run, but I couldn't resist picking it up on Black Friday! I would say I am a nerd, but I was surprised on how much I enjoyed this movie. The 80s music, video game setting, and endless nostalgia really add to the experience!

Set in the near future, Ready Player One is a very entertaining movie for gamers. As it shows the struggles of the individual gamer against the corporations who are only about profit.

I really like the Best Buy exclusive steelbook packaging and in 4K, Ready Player One is even more fun to watch; as you can pause the movie and search for all the Easter eggs with clarity.

This movie was a visual treat! I bought this on Black Friday and am excited to see in such clarity! Best Buy shipped this to me very quickly, and the condition was great!

Recently started upgrading all of my movies to 4k now that I have everything, and I must say, it’s worth it. This is one of my favorite movies, almost life like in 4k!

I tried to enjoy the novel, because all the gaming lore it channels is straight out of my youth in the 1980s, but it just tries too hard. Thankfully the plot is salvageable for the purposes of a tentpole Spielberg film. The Blu-ray has an Atmos track—always a plus. And the price was certainly right.

Me & my husband both loved this movie. At first he saw it and said what is this? I hadn't seen the previews but my friends said it was good so I got it and was pleasantly surprised!!

The story it self is fantastic. I could not stop watching for a second. Blinking was terrible because of all the possible Easter Eggs you could miss. Love it. Bought it for my son.

The item arrived in excellent condition and as pictured. Doesn't show a slipcover and didn't arrive with one either. No complaints. It's what I expected to receive.

Ready Player One is a movie that truly lived up to the hype for me. I often don't like to depend on critic reviews or even reviews from friends, but I bought into the excitement for this one and thankfully, it didn't disappoint. First off, the film is a must have in 4K format (if you have access to it). Second, if you can get your hands on it, the steelbook is also a nice plus and alternative to the typical plastic case. The film itself was executed very well as can be expected from Steven Spielberg. The writing was great too, resulting in a very easy to follow plot. I can imagine the novel might have the potential to be tougher to keep up with, given the amount of action that is portrayed on screen. The cast performances were pretty good, considering mostly fresh faces. I can't recall any moments of cringe-worthy dialogue or seemingly strained acting. I know there is obviously a ton of CG scenes, but the action sequences in these are crazy intense and wildly entertaining! The VFX teams did amazing work. I could go into much more detail about everything, but I think it is just better to watch it yourself. This is a must have for not only action movie fans but movie fans in general. If you haven't watched it yet, add it to your watch/buy list asap.
