It really means something to people who lived in the eighties. I had someone say they did read it was not as good as the book and he did not want to see the movie because they gave the wrong sound effects to a Gundam. I have not read the book, but may do so in the future, and I would not know about the wrong sound effects, so it did not bother me. I especially liked the extras, very interesting stuff.
