As someone who grew up in the 80's and 90's, I got all the pop-culture references, but I couldn't help feel that I'm too old to truly enjoy this film while watching it. I get why a lot of people will love this CGI fest, but it's honestly not anywhere near the top of my favorite Spielberg films he's done. I

The artwork for this Steelbook captures the movie. The video and sound qualities are excellent for the 4K blu-ray- Especially with so many special effects scenes and easter eggs abound(80's nostalgia galore). The special features have the making of the movie, actor interviews, no deleted scenes. The movie stays true to the essence of the book, adapting the plotting to better fit the movie. This is Spielberg at his best. If only Disney had released some of (Star Wars,Marvel, DC,etc.) their copyright- we would of have an even greater easter egg extravaganza for the 80's geeks.

Entertainingly funny movie with lots of action that keeps you glued to the screen.

Spielberg can’t do no wrong (most of the time) he didn’t disappoint with this one!

I went to the movies to watch this beauty and i was thrilled with it. I have to admit i haven't read the book yet, but I guess that's why i was able to enjoy it a lot. Now that i got it Blu-ray, I am able to watch it again with my family and they enjoy it too. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of video games and anything related to the 80's. I might update my review after reading the book but so far i am cool with adaptations taking some liberties to fit the media they are exposed on. The extras and the bonus within the disc are awesome. Still need to finish through.

A great retelling of the book all tho they do changes few things. Enjoy the ride!

I'm not into video games but I liked this movie. Good ending and plot.

I have been a video game player for many, many years. When the book first came out I read it immediately. I loved it. I also loved the movie. The only things I would have changed about the movie would be that it would be in 3D and that all of Stephan Spielberg's movies would be mentioned in the movie. This should have been the greatest 3D movie since Avatar. The list of Spielberg movies from the 80's is a list of the best movies of that era. I know he didn't want to take center stage, but in real life I saw alot of his movies. I am still giving this movie 5 stars!

Not into heavily cgi movies, not checked this one out anyway. Very good movie.

Pretty far off from what happens in the book but still a good movie.

It being a Steven Spielberg film i had high hopes and they were definitely met.

Bought at Best Buy at a great price. Movie has great visuals in 4K.

I've been waiting for this to be the right price- and it finally was. I bought it since I've heard so much about this movie, but it really helps that it's also 4k and HDR. Before I had experienced either, I questioned whether or not it was it....but it looks fantastic- exceeds expectations.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this movie. Exceeded my expectations.
