The movie is a great family movie. It was also on sale.

This gem of a movie is so full of hidden nodes to other movies and such that you really have to watch it over and over and still come away with finding more each time. A very wonderful story and a suburb ending that makes you joyful. This is one of those movies that you can just sit back and just be entertained from start to finish or you can think on it as it rolls out in front of your eyes and ears. This movies purchase will be pleasing to anyone's collection for how much fun it will be every viewing.

A futuristic sci-fi film. Well directed and we'll written.

Man, first off I have never read the book. So comparing the two I will be no help but just going off of the film. It was awesome, characters from every pop culture experience seemed to make a appearance. Iron Giant, to Overwatch, to Back to the Future, to Terminator. References everywhere and honestly you'd probably have to watch it multiple times just to see every character. On the quest to save the Oasis from the bad guys, and first to gain the 3 keys, it is a wild ride from start to finish.

Loved seeing a ton of game references from back in the day

Every time it is on, I watch it. So why not buy it?

I recently purchased a New Samsung Q90T 65" (2020) Q-LED TV and matching Q950T Samsung Soundbar and 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and wanted to purchase a few really good 4K UHD Movies to show off the picture and ATMOS surround audio. This DVD does not disappoint. Great movie with plenty of action scenes with very good Surround sound. And I got it on sale! Better than going to the Movies, especially now since COVID-19.

Read the book and I feel like the movie did a great job

Ready player one is a good movie to enjoy with the family

Ready Player One is an incredibly impressive film overall. The majority of the film takes place in a virtual world called the Oasis, and the effects are fantastic. The characters are good and played well, and I loved the story. I thought everything about the movie was great. A lot of the movie has video game style violence and extremely over the top action and battle scenes. There are horror movie references and an entire scene based off of The Shining. Few characters die in the real world, but things get pretty crazy in the virtual one. There is a scene with a nude woman, but the angles don't reveal much. There is also a lot of swearing. This is definitely not for younger kids, but teens should be okay if they like lots of crazy action. I highly recommend this film.

I am not a big video gamer but I liked this movie.
