Good time, a fun movie that nods to many classics.

Great movIe, awesome sound, and looks fantastic in 4K. The only problem, it skips half way through the movie. I will be returning and hopefully exchanging it for a new copy.

The movie has great visuals and an immersive sound track that really shows off the capabilities of 4k Dolby Atmos technology. The movies plot is average but definitely worth a pick up for the picture quality and audio alone.

The movie is enjoyable. I picked up the steelbook because I generally do for new movies when that's an option, but this one was not of my favorites. I think they had several better options they could have gone with.

If you liked the book, then just be aware that the movie is DRASTICALLY different due to licensing issue for a variety of the IP. Still a good flick, but the book was better, if you enjoyed the nostalgia trip that it provided.

Film was okay, the special effects while great overshadowed the movie and the story was a little lacking. It's worth watching to play a game of spotting all the game/movie references. The Shining scene was very clever though.

Story is too predicable. The first key should have been more difficult to find, and there should have been more clues. The police shouldn't have let IOI blow down buildings and send drones to stalk people from the beginning.

While the movie itself is meh, anyone that grew up in the late 80's early 90's will probably get a kick out of it for nostalgia purposes. Home theater buffs would also love this as the visuals and audio are demo material.

This was a decent Steven Spielberg film. I haven't seen too many of his recent output. So it was nice seeing a film in the vein of a lot of his earlier works. Visuals were pretty good and I enjoyed all the nostalgia.

Movie started out strong.....then just sort of dwindled and left me and my husband unsatisfied. Glad we didn't go to theaters to see this one. Felt it could have been so much more!

While the visuals and sound design were excellent, Ready Player One is geared toward a younger audience than I would have anticipated.

Though directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg this movie lacks the heart he generally shows. More fun as a spot the reference movie with a simplistic story driving the events. Good popcorn movie!

If you read the book, you might be disappointed because they changed a decent amount. It had been enough time since I read the book, so I forgot some details and therefore thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Considering how big the gaming market is I thought this should have been a home run. Even younger gamers kind of panned it. Not bad just disappointed.

If your not playing video games in your mother's basement, this movie probably isn't for you. It was mostly what baby boomers would call a cartoon. The quality of the product was fine.

Though the plot is extremely basic, this film is an eye candy filled trip down memory lane. It's so full of pop culture references, I had to watch several times to catch most of them!

I liked the movie and how all video games characters were put into the movie. I was entertained and it wasn’t the best like the trailers made it seem but it wasn’t the worst.

It's an entertaining family movie with some nostalgic characters sprinkled in. The visual effects are awesome, but the story is just OK. It's not a bad story, just an OK story.

Ready Player One was ultimately boring and completely forgettable. There are a lot of pop culture references from the span of my lifetime which was nice in a very superficial way. The interesting premise was disappointingly under-explored with a very generic story and bland characters. This is the fast-food of film.

From start to finish the story was entertaining and kept you engaged. If you want to see something different with your family I highly recommend.
